This is now the 2nd attempt of getting my order right, the 1st they sent a windows version rather than a Mac. This one was also wrong, and failed on startup. It was 1 terabyte rather than the 2 I paid for. I am thoroughly upset and after spending an hour and half to speak with a manager, Steve just passed me off. This was a bad experience and will not be shopping here again.

It worked perfectly for a year than out of no where it didn’t allow me to connect to my MacBook. I tried different cords. I went to get it diagnosed and they wanted 1k to get it fixed. Which i wasn’t happy about because i lost all my content

Best Buy would not allow for return Or exchange if cable or unit due to Covid, now stuck with faulty cable.

After using it for a couple months it is now unable to be seen by my Mac. I have done all the googling, bought new cords, tried different computers and the external drive will no longer connect to anything. Super upset that I lost my work on it of my clients as well as frustrated that it stopped; not to mention the money I wasted on it assuming it was reliable.

the bestbuy employee told me to buy this. he said this macbook version of hard drive would work fine on windows pc too but IT DIDNT!!. i had to wait through overnight and get a replacement next morning. the bestbuy people are ignorant and misinforms people regularly. shame on them

The My Passport quit working after about 3 months.

One day after purchase this drive malfunctioned and I could not access any files that were transferred to it. Had to return it.

These WD hard drives are not made like they used to be. I am on my 4th one and had to only replace in the past when my storage ran out. I have only had this 3 months and the internal cable connector is loose. I have now lost all my data because I can not connect to my computer. Will NEVER buy Western Digital again.

Every time my Mac goes to sleep the hard drive does as well and won't wake back up. Typically when I go to disconnect it I relieve an error message stating it is still in use. I have made sure I have all programs closed but still receive the error message. Wouldn't recommend.

Worked maybe 50% of the time I am so angry: this has all of my daughters work on for her media unit and she cannot access to create a presentation

I have a 4TB for my desktop and ordered this for a new laptop. It is defective and wrapped and waiting to be returned. Disappointed in this product

Product didn’t last long. I couldn’t transfer files or run first aid on it. It was corrupted

Clumsy to set up and run. There must be a better product to use for MAC backup.

Bought in March broke in June. Couldn't return to Best Buy.

This WD 2 Tb USB-C Ultra is super fast and has an adapter included from USB--C to the standard USB-3. This small WD 2 Tb Hard drive gives you plenty of room to store your movies music photos and just plain files.

It is serving its purpose. Easy to use. I would say that I would buy this again. The quality of the product is good.

Excellent product and worked just as expected. No hiccups at all. I shop for it online for pick up at the store and everything was ready when I got there.

worked without a hitch and was easy even for a novice like me. Could have been a little faster on the download, but upload to new computer was fast.

Easy. Plugged it in, followed 1 instruction to wipe the drive, entered the backup preferences and started the backup. Finished in an hour.

Perfect! I needed an external drive to take pictures and documents off my laptop to free up space. So easy to use... Didn't need to buy a new laptop!
