    This is a decent little external hard drive for your USB-C needs. It is not as rugged as a Lacie but will fill your need at the cost point.

    It's a USB-powered external hard drive, which is a huge plus over buying an enclosure for external drives. Only problem is the USB-C cable that came with mine fits almost no other ports I've tried them on except the drive's. Not too big a deal to get another USB-C cable, especially one better suited to your desired length. Still, I could see people damaging their ports trying to shove this one in till it clicks.
