A photographer’s life saver
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I capture a lot of images…as a photographer I’m confronted with the issues, such as culling photos, backing up and the finished portrait (better not lose those). I find this Xternal HD a must. It has proven to be a lifesaver!

Quit in less than a month
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Had the hard drive less than a month and it went bad. The light would come on and I could hear the motor working in it but my computer never recognized it. This is the 3rd one I’ve purchased and they all did the same thing. Used on MacBook Pro 2015

Just what I needed!
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I was struggling trying to edit multiple videos for multiple YouTube channels because of running out of space on my laptop. I don't even keep the video files on the computer once they are posted, but the render files were making it difficult for me to work on editing more than one at a time. This thing has made my life so much easier! Now all my videos are backed up on this so I am not in danger of accidentally deleting them because of needing more space and also I'm able to save the finished product of the video on here until I'm 100% sure I'm ready to delete it. I am in no way a professional video editor, but this was very worth the money to support my little hobby. Plus it's super easy to use. Like another reviewer said...just plug and play!

A MUST BUY FOR SAVING DATA & MEMORIES

Definitely recommend this! Don’t limit yourself get this one & you can save, for example, all your photographs from beginning to current & keep adding. What a perfect way to keep all your memories in 1 drive rather than some here & some there, worrying about Syncing, etc. Just plug in & store!

Compact and convenient

I especially like that it came with an adaptor for USB-C to USB-A. I've had two WD My book for 10 years, so I tried this compact drive with more storage capability. I hope it lasts as long as the others.
