Needed a quick solution to back up my Macbook. This came in handy with no problems at all.

Good hard drive but the cable now comes with some kind of adapter and a different port making it really uncomfortable and with the feeling of getting loose at any time.

Not sure what went wrong with the following transfers whether it was issues with the files I was transferring, but all of my storage devices are WD and never had issues.

The device was the right product for my MacBook, but there is a wireless one out there too by another company. Works fine but like having the wireless option.

It works well, had more issues with the mac than anything. Hd to cleanup the mac then it worked nicely.

I purchased this Western Digital drive to serve as a Time Machine backup drive for my Mac computer. It works great!

I ended up getting two of these for external memory with an iMac purchase. 4TB for $120 and USB-C / Thunderbolt also. I'm using one for backup and the other to replace 3 older HDD from my previous Mac. So far, I like them. There have been a couple of issues where they haven't shown contents, but I think it is more of a memory issue with my iMac than with the drives.

It does not really work as it stated in the directions. It does not appear on my computer when I tried to upload.

You can convert format to Microsoft if you need to but it will delete all content.

What I liked was the easy "plug and play" --super easy to transfer files, photos, videos. Also very fast!!!

Works great. Easy to use. Very convenient, compact size.
