This WEMO works great! Using it to control and monitor Christmas lights.

Just the items I needed, hope they drop in price since I will need more in the future

This device is a great start for those that want to get into home automation. It was easy to setup...download mobile app and follow on screen instructions. I have it setup so that it will automatically turn on my lights when I am close to my home. I use IFTTT for my rules.

Bought to use with Alexa, and decided to upgrade to the Insight so we could monitor energy consumption. Easy to set up with Wemo app, and easy to link to Alexa. Works great. I'd like to control more outlets in my house with more of these.

Looks simple 1,2,3 and it's not. Requires downloading an app, following instructions and doesn't always work the forest time. Not particularly user friendly. Took awhile to set up. Needs much better directions.

I bought this plug for my daughters room so that when we are away from home I can turn on the lamp remotely. Once you connect it to your Wifi it works perfectly. Now I can turn on the lights when I am away from home. Love it! Two thumbs up!!!

Works well to tell you how much electricity an appliance uses, although it’s not something I do frequently. I typically just plug and play the thing. It still surprises me how much tech they can pack into a such a small space...

This product is an excelent solution to control things at home from your smartphone

Bought it and hooked it up to Alexa. Turns on my patio lights. Hooking up was easy and took about 5 minutes. Works great! No hiccups so far. Had about 2 months. Using it outdoors. We'll see how long it lasts in cold IL weather this winter.

I loved this. Worked great under a bucket. I also use it to run my heat cable.

I have been using this little device hooked up to my Amazon Echo and it has turned my home into a smart home. Now I can come into my entry way with the lights already on via smartphone or by telling Amazon Echo to turn the lights on. Great.

This performs as expected. Works great with my network and Alexa

If you have an Amazon Echo, I would recommend buying this to pair with it.

What sold me on this was the fact that I didn't have to by a hub or some other product to control it. This means I'm not tied to any particular brand. Alexa has no problem turning the outlet on/off. Doesn't currently work with Google Home

This unit will not only remotely control a device, it will tell you how much power is being used by the device. I set it up to turn on/off our Christmas tree lights automatically every day. The possibilities are endless.

I have 2 other smart plugs but this one monitors the energy usage via smart app. I'm currently comparing energy use between 2 of my TVs. Also have it connected to my smart hub and control it from my phone and Echo.

This worked great to control all the Christmas lights outside our house.
