I purchased for my elderly parents so they can control the main lights in their car or from inside. They love it!

Works well with the Amazon echo. Controls my bank of kitchen lights although would be better if it had a dimmer function.

I have three Wemo devices at our cabin and are very happy with them!

Preface: I believe this is the older model but it’s lower price and at the time we purchased- it was the lowest price around - even beat online pricing. We also use Wemo’s LED bulbs in & around our ENTIRE home, even one in our back porch light fixture that takes normal size bulbs. Our front porch light, however is a different story and if we were to use a Wemo bulb would have required installing a whole new & different fixture. Wemo’s Light Switch was the solution. Instead of swapping a fixture - we installed this and that way we were able to keep our special fixture. Thinking of doing the same kind of swap for other areas so we can use our Wemo bulbs for other things. As for the device: works great, program multiple on and off times, set it for auto sunrise & sunset and automatically adjusts throughout year as day’s get shorter or longer.

I purchased wemo light switch because i read reviews that it works well with Alexa and it did.Easy to install and Alexa found the switch right away so now i control my wemo light switch just by talking to Alexa. And of course you could always use their app to turn on/off the light.

Use it with my Amazon Eco and it works perfect. Also you able to use with mobile devices through WiFi.

These are great devices but beware that you could run into two wiring issues. The first is that if you have a 3-Way, 2 switches that control the same light, these won't work. The next is that you have to have a positive, negative and ground wire, which is not as common as you think. The way builders reduce cost by running wiring the negative black isn't always present either.

Nice start to home automation - controls one switch. If you want to control individual lights use Liftx or Hue.

I would recomend this bell in switch for anyone who wants to automate their home. Works great easy setup.

I purchased this product after knowing it could be integrated with Amazon Echo. I'm just a beginner in home automation through wifi, so this product caught my attention. After knowing all the other things it can do through IFTTT, i don't regret at all my purchase. Buying one for a beginner is advisable, just for testing, until a full plan of integration is developed, since having a switch for all the house would be a very expensive project.

This switch is a real nice and better replacement for my old BSR X-10 type controller.

For a small electrical job this is an easy one to assemble and quickly add smarts to your home. Instructions are very clear and the switch is easy to read when connecting wires. I will admit that getting the box into the wall can be a tight fit due to all the tech in the switch.

The switch is very good. I have a couple installed for 1.5 years. Thus far they have been durable and reliable. My main complaint is the app which at times is not reliable. A couple of times the programmed timers do not activate. At other times, it is not able to communicate with some switches. The problem started as I added more switches (more than 4). I am concerned the problem will get worst as more switches are added.

Occasionally loses connection with Alexa, but not very often. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

This works perfectly as a timer for the lights on the front of my house! Easy peas!

We have several of these light switches in our house and they have worked great. Installed one in a weatherproof box to control our pool pump, so far working great. It is setup on a schedule, but we can manually turn on or off from our phone's easily.

Have it installed for 4 weeks, so far so good...works great!

I purchased this switch to operate an indoor ceiling fan. Prior to installing this switch, I had no experience installing any kind of electrical swith. The installation lasted about 35 minutes total. That includes switching off the power at the breaker box to having my helper turn it back on and making sure my home didn’t explode. The install was pretty easy as I had the wemo video playing on my iphone as I went step by step. The most difficult part for me was fitting all the screw caps back into the box after making all the connections. In regards to functionality, when I use the physical control, the switch has been 100% reliable. However, this is what i took a star off for, the switch does sometimes miss an Alexa voice command. I do not believe it is an issue with the Echo Spot since other lights in the group almost always respond. Thanks for taking the time to read my review and I hope it was helpful.

I bought two of these one for my foyer and one for my front porch. Works great for my front porch as it only has one light switch unfortunately can not use it on any light that has multiple switches so the foyer was out. Seems that has been an issue for a long time with this brand others do have this capability. I won't be buying anymore of this brand as I would like all my switches automated eventually and would like the same brand. They do connect to easy and configure to your router easy as well we have had a couple of minor power outages and have not had to reconnect. This would be my first choice if not for the 2 way limitation.
