I love our WeMo light switches. We have been slowly adding to our collection for a while now and have been extremely happy with them. My only complaint is the lack of HomeKit integration. I am using a program called HomeBridge which is currently allowing my light switches to be pieced together and be controlled by Siri via HomeKit. However, I hope that WeMo makes this a native option soon instead of something you essentially have to hack.

Easy to install and the customizable schedule is perfect since I want the lights to come on and go off at specific times, especially when the sun sets and rises at different times of the year. The WiFi connection to the app was a little confusing but I figured it out and it started working just fine. Definitely need a good WiFi signal from the router. Overall it works great.

This smart switch works as advertised. Easy to use, easy to set up, very convenient!

So I started with amazon echo dot, then got Belkin plugs for the bedside lamps then got this wall switch for the bedroom light. Now I can turn off and on each lamp or group of lamps or everything by voice command! You don't know how convenient it is to snuggle in bed and just command Alexa turn off all, and all lights turn off! No fumbling for switches, no stumbling in the dark to get into bed. Installing the switch was relatively easy, I looked at the videos and the belkin website. My switch box has a big jumble of wires and the box itself holding the wires was just big enough to squeeze all of the heavy wires and the belkin switch. Since I had already set up the belkin plugs and used the wemo app, the switch took less than a minute to set up. I am considering putting more echo dots around the house but for me the bedroom light controls are the most useful. With the new belkin mini out, the guest bedroom may be next!

This switch is easy to install (I'm not mechanical at all) and easy to set up in the Wemo app. It and works perfectly with the Amazon Echo. The rules allow you to set and change time settings so it can work like an old fashion timer with easy control-ability.

Easy to use. Wish it integrated into Apples HomeKit. Otherwise app and device itself work great

The electrian installed this item.but it is easy to use.

Belkin did a great job designing and developing the product however the accompanying application sucks and is extremely basic. I ultimately ended up buying a Samsung Smartthings Hub to control more ideally. The WeMo app allows for basic scheduling but not advanced automation and the nest integration is way less than desired basically just wants to piggyback off the presence sensor smh.

Works great and it easy to install. Use for outside Christmas lights.

The installation only took a few minutes. And once I was able to link the switch to my app, I haven't had any issues with the device since. Now I am able to control my outlets and switches from the comfort of my couch or Walsh from home. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Although it might be best to have an electrician install these for you if you're not confident, they are really quite a basic item to wire into the house. I fitted 4 of these switches myself to replace the existing light switches for our outdoor lights and there's only 4 wires on the back of each switch to connect up to the existing wiring in the wall. The switches fit well into the existing electrical housing and the face plate fitted back across without any problems. The most important things I found were to make sure your existing wiring includes both the neutral and live wires required to run the switch and that the wifi reaches that part of your home. We've got the switches set up to independent schedules set via the app and enjoy having full control of the lighting from anywhere.
