It took me 15 min to install 1st switch I purchased and the others was just a matter of specifying a name. Love the device and it is compatible with many other software for Home Automation.

I installed this switch to control a "built-in" LED porch light (meaning that there is no actual bulb in the fixture to swap out), so a smart bulb wouldn't help me. This switch allows me to very easily automate the light, turning it on at dusk and off at dawn. Even better, it is using my location on earth to determine exactly when those times are throughout the year. So for a couple of months now it has been doing its thing without any hiccups whatsoever (unless of course I lose my internet connection, but if I do then it reconnects automatically as soon as the connection is restored). Installation was as easy as swapping out any dimmer switch. I'm quite please with my purchase.

Easy set up if you have basic electric skills. Easily controlled via google home. Currently using this switch to control outdoor lights via the scheduling option.

Using it to turn lights on and off in a very large building. Wemo app works great and was easy to set up. I am not a electrician but I was able to install following set video.

Setup is simple and straightforward. A few wres twisted together a few screws and you are all set. Now i can control my ceiling fan via amazon alexa, or gia the wemo app. Great product

Great when starting to up home to a smart home. Easy install, some handyman skills needed. Easy to setup app. Works with Alexa without a hub. Sometimes it will not show in connected devices list.

installed this switch a couple days ago for my porch lights to replace a timer switch that was a pain to adjust the programming. The installation and setup was extremely smooth and simple using an iPhone, and it's awesome to be able to program the lights on my phone and not via microscopic buttons on the switch. I had recently installed a wifi-enabled thermostat, and this was far easier to set up. This switch does everything it says it does, and does it well. The iPhone app is well designed and I found it pretty easy to use (if being really nit-picky, programming the switch could be a tad more intuitive- you had to go into a couple of screens then back out then save. But overall, I was still impressed with the app).

First I need to say that my experience is with using a Google Nexus phone running Android 6 to perform the setup. I have 3 WEMO devices and control them with my Amazon Echo. They work very well using 'Alexa' for voice control. The Amazon Echo also discovered them on the network with out any problems once each device was updated to the latest firmware. The real issue with the WEMO devices is configuring them on your network and then performing the required firmware update. The WEMO's automatic wireless network configuration combined with my phone's cell service caused significant issues due to the WEMO app getting confused about the correct network. My recommendation when setting up a WEMO, if your are using an Android device, is to disable your cell service or use a tablet device. Plus make very sure that your WEMO device is updated to firmware before attempting to use it with an Amazon Echo.

The switch is easy to set up. I'm using it with a smartphone and also have it connected to Alexa. Performs flawlessly. Highly recommend it.

great to be able to use Alexa to turn lights on when expecting company. Also, very reliable scheduling so the lights can be scheduled as well. A little expensive but it works!

Easy to set up. Able to install relatively easily. Worked great immediately. Was able to find plate on internet to accommodate the new size with a little effort.

We got this and installed it in minutes. We got the app on the phone and we have it set to be on in the morning and off at night. Fantastic and works flawless.

Easy to setup, easy to use, works with voice control. A little delayed compared to other smart home items, but lights come off and on within 5 seconds.

I initially brought one Wemo light switch just to try it out. As I played with the switch, I came to like all of the options that are offered for the off/on cycles. Since I take my WiFi network down at times to add other devices, I did notice that the light switch did reconnect on its own (as advertised) once the WiFi powered back up. I’ve been so pleased that I recently brought and installed a second Wemo light switch. As I look at other opportunities to expand my smart home, I expect to purchase additional Wemo light switches along with considering other Wemo products.

Bought for my father. Integrates perfectly with Alexa. Set timers for outdoor lights but easily override at switch if needed. Setup was pretty easy. No complaints

The switch was very easy to install and setup, my only complaint is how bulky it is. If you are looking to install in a single switch with the provided switchplate you shouldn't have a problem. When i installed in a 2, 3, or 4 gangbox with non wemo switches, i had trouble keeping the switches flush to the wall because of how much space the switch itself took up + wires. Would recommend purchasing the wemo smart switch for a single switch box, aside from that i suggest shopping around for less bulky smart switches.
