Got four of these for my house to control overhead lights and fans. Work flawlessly with Alexa and with the wemo app. Easy to install as well. Took about 10 min for a pair.

Bought this to let my amazon echo operate the light switches in the house. It is a problem to use your phone to program them. But, it would seem that if I put it into airplane mode, turned on the WiFi, erased the wireless for the house, then I could program each switch easily with my Samsung phone. Of course, I had to reconnect to the LAN again and again. Solved with copy and paste. The only other thing I didn't like is that I can only turn lights on and off using the LAN. I will need to establish a VPN into my home so that I can operate them on the road. Other than that, the technology is pretty good. Easy to install and operate. But, that is why my cable modem supports VPN.

These Belkin switches work great. I installed two a few months ago, and came back for a third. Very reliable. The app is very intuitive and does what I need.

Just getting started with Alexa and automating my house. Super easy install and compatible with Alexa. Working well with my lamp and connected to Samsung smart things seamlessly.

Bought this to pair with the Echo. Super simple to install and use and now we can tell alexa to turn the lights on or off while laying in bed. No need to get up!!

The device is a replacement for some of my X10 devices (X10 went out of business). The idea is a good one but they are having problems maintaining contact between the device, their cloud server, and my cell phone. It usually works when my cell phone is on my WiFi network at home but when away from home using the cell phone network it sometimes loses contact. It also gets confused if you visit someone that also has the product and you access their WiFi network. It had a problem when DST ended. My lights were turning on an hour early for several days.

I bought this item to start the home automation but found out in a very easy to read installation instructions that it would not function in a three way switch. packaging was done in a fashion it was easy to put back in the box and return.

Installation was very easy, if you've installed any light switch before. Took a while for it to connect to wifi, but once it did, works flawlessly. Highly recommend.

Installs just like a standard switch, app is easy to set up and had instructional videos for help on the website. Only downside is you are tied to the app to program the timers

I actually have 3 whole house fans in my house and friends houses that I have installed these in. there are some minor glitches every once in a while with updating firmware etc but before I go to bed I tell it what time to turn on and off and it does just that. great switch

This was my third wemo. I am very happy with the performance. They are easy to install. The only feature is missing is a timer, I guess the work around is creating schedules.

I'm nowhere close to being an electrician but this was very easy to install. Works great! My only issue is that I installed it not thinking about the fact that I could turn this particular group of lights on/off with 3 different switches in the house. That being said, if my husband or daughter flip one of those other switches, Alexa can no longer control the shut off. You have to actually flip that switch again to make it work again. WeMo brand is great though! And I'm hoping they'll figure out a way to make switches that will work for double switches instead of just single.

Excellent product. Very easy setup instructions are clear and crispy. It takes 15-20 mins to install. Watch few you tube videos before it will be very helpful. Now i can control my external garage lights from anywhere. Planning to buy one more.

I bought this to replace my 30 yeard old timer for a set of outdoor lights and it works great. Wiring was easy. Wifi setup was a breez, the app is good,but it's a little annoying to work at times. I plan on buying more as my other timers go.

Wemo light switch is great works with Alexa and also with your Phone. We use it to turn on Outdoor lights when returning home after dark. Install is easy

Easy install when replacing an ordinary light switch. Tell Alexa to turn on or off or do it from your snart phone anywhere. Love this and will buy more.

I have about 10 of these in my kids rooms. My kids favorite thing to do is leave their lights on so I replaced all the switches in their rooms, closets, and bathrooms (including the fan). I have had success using the wemo app to set schedules and timers for the lights so that the lights turn off from a timer depending on what time of the day it is. I have a strong wifi signal in each room so I haven't had any issues with the light switch disconnection from the wifi. I would go 5 stars but they don't have a motion detection option and they don't work on dimmers. Other than that they have been great.

Purchased this switch to operate our front porch light. Easy to install and set up using the Wemo app. Excellent for outdoor lights you want on a timer.

No problem with wiring. Watched a few YouTube videos and did it my self. The connection works great with Siri (with wemo bridge) and Alexa.

I had to return this to Best Buy as the very small print on the side of the box indicates it only works with single pole switches. It you have a 3-way switch then this will not work. There is a similar device that provides similar functions but does not connect to the Internet. The Leviton Vizia+ switch is compatible with either single pole or 3-way (with mandatory matching switch for the other location) that can be programmed to turn lights on at sundown and off at sunrise, or any other specific times if desired. Must enter the latitude and longitude of your location but Leviton provides a link to a site that provides that data.
