I was tired of having to get a flashlight and tiny screwdriver out to change the time on my existing switch timer for my outside lights. It was always a chore I hated. I decided on this Belkin timer after reading reviews and reading that it worked with my Amazon Alexa as well. The install was really easy and took less than 10 minutes. Downloaded the app and now I can change the time on my smartphone or tablet whenever I want , without ever touching the switch. Alexa loves it too!

The install was a little more complicated than a standard switch, but not much. I worry that it may not hold up over time since it is all plastic housing. Also makes it difficult to adjust its positioning.

Works well. No longer need to run downstairs to turn off lights. Install was easy but in a dual gang box the cover does not fit. Has dropped connection to Wi-Fi a few times even with a strong signal. Simple to reconnect to Wi-Fi.

Device was easy to install and easy to setup using the app on iPhone. Device retains setup during a power outage.

I bought this switch for my teenager’s room. It was easy to install, works great with Alexa and the iOS app.

The Wemo light switch works very well. Because my switch box needed a neutral wire, I had an electrician iinstall the wire and the light switch, so I cannot speak to the ease of installation. Software setup on both android and iOS was very simple and the programming of timers was straightforward. I've had 2 power outages lasting more than an hour since I've been using the switch. On both occasions it reconnects to my wifi and the on/off timers work on schedule. .

I bought these as my introduction to automation. They really shine when you combine the use of IFTTT. They work most of the time but it is frustrating when the devices fall off the network. On the plus side they usually reappear without doing anything thing special sometimes as simple as restarting the app. I believe Belkin has a shot in the home automation arena providing they listen to the feedback they receive from their customers. They definitely need to expand their product line if they truly wish to compete in the home arena.

I love this switch so much that I bought 10 of them for around the house. In addition to lights, I also have them controlling fans. I also have them hooked up to Amazon's Alexa which is fun and making me more lazy ny the second..lol. It's also great for summertime in Austin especially when the temperature gets out of control. My only thing is that they are single pole only and wish they could do 3 way but I still love them all the same.. Thank you Wemo!

Very easy installation and easy to use. The Wemo app is a very friendly user app that you use with the switch.

This is one most useful additions I’ve made to my house so far! Set up was a breeze and the instructions were clear and precise. For an average homeowner this should take about 20 minutes to install and 5-10 minutes for set up. The additional set up time was because mi me requiered an update as soon as it was connected to the internet. Since then I set it up to turn certain lights on and off on a schedule.

The switch is easy to install and setup and it works great with the rules from the app. Price is pretty good and works as advertised

This is my 3rd wemo switch. They are easy to install. Love to be able to set up timers on the Wemo app.

A little pricey, but you can usually get it on sale. Easy install, works great with alexa and easy to use.

We bought 7 of these so far. Extremely easy to install (as long as your home wiring is as easy, one of ours was a little more complicated, appeared to be the builder made it overly complicated for some reason). Works great with Alexa and the Wemo app itself. Only downside is that these are not compatible with 3-way switches, which we actually have a lot of in our house. Would love a version that comes with 2 and is 3-way compatible.
