but once synced it works as described. I used smartthings from samsung as the smart hub. Also, i dont think the item is priced right when it doesn't even have dim capability

Read instructions carefully before purchasing to ensure that the product is right for you. Once installed, programming instructions were not intuitive. Auto features work well once programmed.

easy installation and works great! I did have to buy some new faceplates because the lights I converted to smart lights were bundled with multiple light switches, but those are cheap. It does come with a faceplate to use for single switches. Important to note is that this light switch is not compatible for 3 pole switches (lights controlled by more than one switch).

I have several of these switches. I have an Amazon Echo and they work flawlessly with it. I also take advantage of the rule. I bought this one for my garage because I always forget to turn out the light after I go in there for something. I now have a rule set to where the light will turn off after it has been on for 15 minutes. Very easy to install yourself if you have a little bit of handiness in you.

Using it to control a ceiling fan in the master bedroom via Alexa without getting out of bed (lazy level 1000.) The only issue I have had is one day it would not respond to Alexa, I hit the reset button on the switch and after reboot, all was working again. This product doesn't really seem cost efficient for lights, especially since standard A19 hue bulbs are just $15 now,but its perfect for stuff like ceiling fans.

I purchased this light switch because my old one was wiggling out after 2 years which was dissapointing but I needed my lights to work at a vacation home. I have 4 total WeMo lights at that home and I control them from my phone and set timers to go on and off with ease. I highly recommend these switches they will not disappoint, I think the one that wigged out was fluke because the others all work great.

The good: Easy to set up. You might want to hire an electrician if you don't know your way around 120 VAC electricity. The not-so-good: You have to use their app to control the switch. I now have three wireless devices that are incompatible. That means three apps to control all of them. How about someone come up with one app to control the majority of the devices?

I should have read all the reviews before buying. Installation was relatively easy. However, configuring the switch to connect to my WiFi did not work. I tried everything from resetting my wifi, removing the wifi password, resetting the switch and etc, but to no avail, it didn't work. I will be returning all the switches I purchased.

It is easy to install and works great with echo dot 3rd generation.

I purchased two switches to control my front porch and bedroom lights. The video detailing proper installation was simple to follow. I love leveraging them with Alexa and Nest Aware for added convenience. My only critique would be its lack of functionality with lights controlled by more than one light switch (it will not work with lights wired this way), so I hope a future product release finds a way to get this done.

This light switch is exactly what ive been looking for. It works like a charm, I read previous reviews where people had issues with connecting to Wi-Fi, I've had them for two months now and I haven't had an issue yet. I love the ability to set my lights to turn on and off when I'm away from home. They are super easy to install three wires and your good to go. Highly recommend this product.

While I wish they had more capability, I do like them alot! They could benefit by having a main controller or a a central hub to control the lights and way not to pull too much bandwith.

It works fine. I purchased this in a hurry right before a trip to keep the front lights on at night. I use the timer function and it works fine. I can also turn the lights off and on remotely, but I'm not sure I see the point to that for me. (I keep them on during dark all the time anyway.) Overall, a $20 timer would have worked fine for me. WEMO has other products and I had thought maybe in the future I would add on, but nothing seems that usefull to me. Glorified timers that require wifi and a cell phone of wifi tablet.

These switches are perfect! Bought the bulbs and connects prior and they are functional for the most part, but the switches give you complete functionality. Super easy to install as well! Cant go wrong with this purchase. Only negative is that it doesnt connect with apple home kit. Probably Apples doing.
