Excellent switches

I love that the app is free and easy to use, the switches are easy to install (I did several myself as a novice) and that I can control them from anywhere. I also love that they do not require a home "pod" or base unit and they are compatible with the Amazon Echo! I love them so much I bought them for family members as well.

Way Better Than New Gens

It is simple you connect to the wifi the light switch produces then go to the app and it is done. The new gen that uses apple homekit is a nightmare and takes longer than installing 10 switches. The app is also pretty bad and only works like 30% of the time. I usually get a "not detected" when i want to control it with my phone

Looks simple enough

So if you have three way switches, which my house is loaded with then a single switch will not do. They sell a different kit but you you basically do is hard wire on switch and disable the other and replace it with a remote that looks like a switch. I'm planning on using this in a bathroom where the kids always leave the light on. Thatvway I can always make sure it is off when no one is home.
