It is really nice to be able to set a schedule to turn lights on and off for the exterior of the house. Because they are connected to WiFi you can set the on function in relation to sunset. That way it will turn on at sunset each day regardless of the time of year.

Overall I liked how easy it was to set-up and use with other devices. Installation of the switch is pretty easy just make sure to connect the neutral wire else the switch will not work. In general I recommend the WeMo line great products!

They are perfect for controlling exterior up or down lights on my home. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it only comes in white and it only comes in a single pole configuration. Single pole means that if you can turn your lights off or on at multiple switches this product wont work.

Install this device program it to turn on by itself at sunset and to turn off by midnight to save energy bill. Planning to install more around my home which I can't install in my two way lights which doesn't work.

My 3rd one and each time I had to get an iPad to do the setup (this was recommended to me by the phone tech support folks). Despite what it says, the use of an Android device never seems to work during the setup. After initial setup, the Android phone works fine.

I have tried 50 different times to connect it but still unable. I don’t understand unless I got a lemon. Both switches are right next to each other.

It doesn't really matter if your Wemo Light Switches are positioned next to each other as long as there are no signal barriers that can block its signal.
