It's great that no hub is needed. the setup and upgrade process is tough especially if there is any hiccup in the process. Once setup, the switch seems to be accurately controlling the lights as I set them up.

For the 30$ that I paided I think it's well worth it. The install was Abit harder then it should have been but I blame my electrical wiring for that. once it was installed it works fansticly

Great product. Would highly recommend. I can control my lights from anywhere and linked it to my amazon Alexa account and the timer function pays for itself. Would highly recommend!!

Easy to set up. And it connected to Wi-Fi. There are two black wires that can be confusing. I hooked it up to the switch for my ceiling fan. Never quite worked.

WeMo is easy to install but if you run into a problem there are no instructions or a trouble shooting guide. You ask for help and hope someone gets back to you.

It is a good product but i start having issues with the scheduller that you can set with the wemo apllication , I remove this and a connect trough iffft and i have never had other issue.

Wemo light switch was easy to install and works as intended. I like the fact I can turn my lights on and off remotely and/or set up a program to turn lights on/off at preset times.

I bought this switch to control the garage external lights to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. The unit has performed well since being installed (about 2 weeks). Works well with Alexa.

Product works as described. I have not had any issues as of yet. I have it connected to the front porch lights and is very useful since by the time we get home it is dark already.

I liked the product a lot but a little pricey for being a one-way light switch. Also, had some issues during setup but it worked fine after reseting it.

This smart switch is a great product concept but will require a professional to properly install it. The outlet space in the wall may be a challenge in some cases to fit properly.

What can I say: it does what it should. Be aware, you can control more than one switch with one phone, but you can't control a switch from more than one phone at the same time.

the switch itself is fairly straightforward and easy to install, but the setting up of the switch in the wemo native app, on Alexa, Google Home and Homekit is anything but. It drops spontaneously, it responds with a noticeable lag even on very fast networks and generally is less than user-friendly or that intuitive. Also for Homekit support, Wemo gouges you for an additional outboard bridge even though Apple has released full software integration with Homekit. Hey FoxConn, if you're listening these things need work.

I use several WeMo light switches in my home to control outside lights. They work seamlessly with my Google Home to control them manually and with IFTTT automation to turn them on at sunset or during vacation schedules. However, one major drawback is that the switches loose their configurations if power is lost (such as during a storm), requiring each to be set up manually again switch-by-switch. While this doesn't happen often, it is a disappointment that the switches do not recover and re-sync to wireless automatically after a power outage.

This works great as a switch and add IFTTT makes it really powerful. I wish it had been clearer that it can't replace a three way switch, two switches for one light. I still bought 3 more

Before, I Had To Leave My Porch Light On All Day. Now I Can Turn It On Before Leaving For Work And Turn It Off When I Get To Work.

Installation was simple and it connected to our WiFi easily. We use several WEMO switches & are very happy with them. Works great with Google Home too.

I bought five of these and had an electrician install them. Set them up to work with Amazon echo. All worked fine for three days. Then one lost its WIFI capability. I'll have to take it back.

This WeMo switch was easy to install. The only problem I had was when I bought a new router it would not connect to it, so I had to hook my old router to my new one to get it all to work

If you read the instructions and carefully examine the existing switch wiring you will quickly enjoy the benefits of this WiFi controlled device. The added security is really appreciated.
