Each one connects to your network, and increases traffic. If you have other items using wifi, they compete for bandwidth, and boot each other offline, or worse your security cameras, or thermostat get booted. Go with a phillups Hue home starter kit, with a bridge, and keep the data moving smoothly.

Adjusting the wireless channels might help to lessen the traffic. Also, the Wemo devices use little to no bandwidth so data usage shouldn't be a problem.
