Can’t say enough awesome things about these switches. I have 10 of them and I keep buying more. Almost every switch in my home has been converted over. I LOVE THESE! I bought one and it worked great so I went out and bought two more! The only issue is it can't hook up to a multiple switch light. So if you have two switches that control one light it wont work. You need the red wire to hook in and the switch doesn't come with it. WHICH IS FINE! this works perfectly without it.

I really like this product along with the full line of these products, but this one is a little tough to install if you have a single box with multiple light switches connected. I had to call in an electrician I know to have it wired. Other than that, it works as expected and was perfect for what I needed it for.

Annoyingly (almost) useless. Every time they make a firmware update, it takes over a week for it to reconnect. I've gone through 5 firmware updates in the past 6 months and each time I consider a new product. I've tried contacting support, but every time I do, they ask me to walk through the same exact steps as the previous person and then they say they'll move the ticket up to the next level and I stop hearing back. I consider this to be a faulty product with zero valid tech support. They didn't even offer to replace it. This will end my support of any belkin device. I'm done.

I haven't committed to a home assistant yet but plan to. I installed these for four new ceiling lights and they are wonderful! I can program them to shut off automatically. I failed to teach my kids this, but now with technology, my parental failures are moot!

Slowly buying more and more for the entire house. :) would totally recommend, super easy to set up

This is a great switch! Used it in my basement at the opposite end of the house from my upstairs router and it never loses connection or fails to perform. Smart house products save usage money and wear and tear and this one is well made. Easy installation with app.

super easy to install, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. works flawless with google assistant. Looks good. The only issue is that it will not work with the phone widget if it has the light turned off, works fine with assistant. Would be nice if it worked with Bixby.

My only negative part about my WeMo Mini plug is my google assistant's inability to consistently control it. Other than that, through the WeMo app it's fantastic. I highly recommend these for a coffee maker and lights, set them on a timer to wake up to.

Installation was a breeze, but wireless setup took four tries. However once setup it has worked flawlessly. Less expensive than similar models from other manufacturers. Even greater bargain if you can catch it on sale. Would recommend this to anyone.

My faver smart divice I can use alexa or wemo app to turn on off my light !

We have forgotten to turn the back yard light on when we left during the day a couple too many times. Now that it's installed, it's more of a toy. I'll turn it on from work just because I can. I'm going to add more "toys" to my app in the near future.

From all the research I have done it appears that almost 50% of buyers (reviews on amazon, engadget and wemo's own community...) have very significant issues. I have three Wemo outlets which all failed after about 6 months, won't connect to wifi even though my Nests, Dropcam, and other devices have no wifi issues on the same network/SSID. The devices either have signifcant engineering defects or manufacturing defects

Works 99% of the time with Amazon Echo via voice. wanted to keep the clean look for a string of lights attached to once switch, and for ceiling fans. Best part is able to keep a physical button for using old technology like fingers.

a bit tricky to set up wifi, but operates as advertised

I replaced two of my light switches in the house with these WeMo over the weekend. I have recently become hooked on home automation, specifically with Apple HomeKit and while these switches don't work directly with HomeKit (and according to a blog post on Belkin's site, they never will), there are a few options to work around this issue to get them to integrate. I've got both my garage lights and outside house lights parts of "Scenes" and it's working out great. I've also had zero issues so far (4 days) with dropped connections from the switches, maybe the firmware update that the app installed on the switches headed that issue off at the pass. I look forward to buying more of these as I build up my smart home.

Easy to install, the look nice and work great. I love being able to lay in bed and turn the lights off, set automatic timers and even being able to be out of town and turn off and on.

I just installed this yesterday and I am very impressed. I have never wired up a light switch before this, but I had basic knowledge of how the process works. I watched a YouTube video and accessed WeMo's website just to make sure I was correct on everything. I had the first switched installed and set up within 15 minutes. I did use a multi-meter to make sure which was the incoming line and which line went to the light. So that maybe useful if you don't know which line is which. Voice control with Alexa has worked flawlessly. I am very impressed. I also installed two Wemo Dimmer switches and the process is the same and they work great too.

The Wemo was very easy to set up for someone who is not very tech savvy. It is fun to use. Looking forward to using it for timed on and off settings or accessing from phone.

I have 2 of these wemo light switches and will be purchasing one more to complete the automation in my bedroom. The switches work exactly as advertised and are simple to wire.
