Or if you want to turn on a few lights on in the house be cause its late and the house is all dark. They are easy to install and easy to program.

I really like my Lutron Casetas but they are kind of overkill (expensive) for lights like porch lights that you will never dim. so I use WeMo as a more inexpensive solution. I have one of these switches that loses connection to the network a lot (flashes red). I have tried the reset buttons but to no avail. The only thing that works is cycling power, which requires turning the breaker off and back on which of course cycles power to everything connected to that circuit. My plan is to switch it with another switch to see if the problem travels with the switch but that is a lot of work so I'll probably just replace it with something else. Again only one of the ones I have does this but it is still annoying. When it is connected it does work well.
