Very easy to install, even for a novice like myself. Connected to WiFi and app with no issues.

Should have done this a long time ago. Ordered three, wish I ordered more to replace all switches in house.

With this switch, it will definitely make things much easier with the combination of my Google home. I'm loving this switch!

This is just like past switches I've bought from WeMo, except they've updated the aesthetics a bit for a smoother more rounded look. I didn't give 5 stars because of my past experiences with WeMo. Their products have a tendency to lose the connection periodically, with their own app & Google Home. What's interesting is the connection is almost never lost with SmartThings, even when the WeMo app can't see the device. I'm also giving 3 stars because I have 2 switches I bought at about the same time (about 5 years ago) that seem to be at their end, as far as wireless connectivity goes. Since it happened to 2 at the same time I'm guessing the life expectancy of these switches is about 5 years. I just expected them to last longer. There's no user error here, I have multiple WeMo & other IoT devices & have become somewhat of an expert in this area, as far as the typical "Harry Homeowner" goes anyway. I'm well versed in trouble shooting as this point & am positive it's the switches.

This device will only work on 2.4 networks but even worse, o had to designate a channel. It took me an tier 2 support 2 hours to resolve the connectivity issues. Since then, the device has performed great but getting set up was a nightmare. Supper was very helpful but it took a LONG time.

This second generation WeMo switch works well if you are in the Apple HomeKit ecosystem without using a WeMo bridge.

Wemo light switch is excellent. It controls my outside lighting sunrise to sunset.
