They are easy to install if you have ever changed out your home light switches. I recently added recessed lights throughout my home and these dimmer switches work perfectly on them. They work really well when paired with Amazon Alexa too. The app is okay but you need to have your phones location on to be able to access it. Overall i am happy with the purchases and products.

Documentation speaks of needing a neutral wire, completely leaves out that line and load must be separate or this will not work. Unfortunately I could not use this in intended location due to this. In my home, only works in multi junction boxes due to this requirement.

Underwhelmed

Couldn’t get the switch to work at all let alone connect to the internet. May have had a failty unit but returned it and purchased a phillips hue 3 bulb starter set for $49 instead.

I get that there needs to be a continuous power source in order for the modem to pick up the signals, but I thoughts that Wemo may have fond a way to work around this. My only other option would have been to purchase 2 switches but that was not happening.
