Like their other devices, they function well with the app and connect perfectly (usually) with Google Home, but — especially for the price — the quality of the dimmer itself is absolutely terrible. The LEDs connected were previously connected to a different dimmer and worked fine, but now flicker at any brightness and barely dim at all. Minimum brightness is probably 70% of maximum brightness, and lights now give off a jittery effect, even when actual flickering isn’t occurring. Still undecided as to whether the internet connectivity is worth poor light and dimmer quality.

The neutral wire is evidentially pretty important. My house was built in 2001 so I would have thought it would be compatible but wasn’t.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While trying to replace a dumb dimmer switch (Lutron), I tried this since I already had one in the house (along with 2 Wemo smart plugs). Unfortunately nothing could get this thing to broadcast a "normal" SSID and it wouldn't factory reset. There are other cases of this online, and Wemo support concurred, so it seems some of these are defective. Instead of swapping it out and trying again (gambling?), I went with Lutron Caseta and it's working great with a super-easy install. I knew this required a neutral wire going in, and I had some since it's a new house, but the switch was still defective and was returned.
