    got this product to help my husband who has cancer so he can just talk through Alexa. the 1st one burned out the replacement did not work the 2nd replacement I spent almost 2 hours with a rep to get it to connect. in addition I paid $150 per product to have an electrician install totaling $450 not to mention the cost of the dimmer I will never buy another wemo product

    Works exactly like you would think/want it to. No real issues other than the depth of the switch face is such that fitting it behind a standard face (other than the one it comes with) creates a bit of a challenge and could leave a very small gap if not carefully installed.

    I use this switch for my back patio light. The sunrise off/ sunset/off option is perfect for me. The options are great but a little difficult to understand due to limited instructions. It’s true it works with Nest but Nest does not seem to work with WEMO.

    I have all the Wemo products for security purposes. We travel a lot and opening the lights remotely will make the bad guys think the house is not empty. The Dimmer switch is a dream come true! Can turn it on and off by siri using IFTTT.

    Wemo products are very impressive, I first tried Leviton but was disappointed. After trying Wemo I've moved forward to making my entire home smart

    Had two light switch and one insight installed already, just add a dimmer in one of the bedroom. Everyone works great, no complain about it. Planning to add one more dimmer to another bedroom.

    Didn't work with LED bulbs

    Had licensed electrician install. Switch was functional with incandescent bulbs, but overheated when dimmed. So I purchased dimmable LED bulbs and reinstalled switch on the Wemo app. Had to purchase two different brands, because store didn't have enough of the same brand for my fixture. With the LED bulbs, the switch turned on, but would not dim. Called Wemo support and learned that only certain bulb brands are compatible. Confirmed both brands I purchased were compatible. Then they wanted me to unscrew all bulbs of one brand to test each brand separately. Bulbs are not readily accessible, so I just said forget it and will be returning the switch.

    Agonizing, kafka-esque set-up. Not worth it

    I bought two of these, and installed one a while back, and today upon installing the 2nd one, remembered why I have been procrastinating. Even after the electrical / hardware installation, the Wemo app and the connection process is so stupid that I want to take this product back out. The app "sees" the dimmer, but then simply won't connect. Or, if it does, and I make it one or two steps further, the process gets stuck elsewhere, and I have to force the app to close, and turn off wifi to and turn it back on again to start over. I am not sure if I'll ever get this dimmer connected to actually take advantage of "smart" capabilities. Stay away.

    Everything about this switch is awsome! until you have a 3 way wiring configurations in hallways. You cannot use them there. I had to change out the whole house to Plum dimmers in order to have one branded dimmers in the house. Cannot jump from one app to another in order to adjust my lights.

    This dimmer is fabulous. Yes other smart dimmers can be less - but this one looks great. Works with Alexa and Google Home.

    On the box, WeMo says this switch "works with any dimmable bulb". That is simply false. I replaced two Lutron dimmers with the WeMo dimmers switches, and although the lights turn on and off, they no longer dim. They dimmed fine with the Lutron switches. The WeMo online help offered no help whatsoever. I'm returning my WeMo switches.

    I purchased this dimmer because it is described as a dimmer that will not hum (buzz) or flicker. It's supposed to adjust to the lighting fixture when you set it up. I updated the firmware, adjusted the dimming and I get this humming sound. It's awful. The design looks great, but don't attempt using it on LEDs.

      This is an unusual behavior for the Wemo Dimmer. It should not have any sound (or buzzing) when being used. Also, the Dimmer actually supports dimmable LED bulbs.

    I contacted the WEMO directly. I then waited for a return call and they told to to either wait for a box in the mail to exchange or put a deposit down for new switches to arrive. Not acceptable. I returned and purchased Leviton dimmers.
