Took a little to get set up. Once the switch was connected had to do a firmware update. However after that it worked and showed up inApple Home app and was able to share with other household users. After that all was well. Neat size that doesn’t protrude from wall or block other outlets

I have the mini versions which work perfectly and ordered these as the mini’s were sold out. I read the reviews before purchasing them and as I already have smart home devices and HomeKit and Control4 systems in my homes I anticipated some hurdles. You must have the WeMo app installed on your device and logged into your account. I found the best way to set up each plug was via the iOS Home app. Open your WeMo app and make sure it’s logged in and connected, plug in the outlet, open the Home app, select Add Accessory, scan the QR code on the plug with your device, then configure it as you wish. Sometimes I had to select the device’s WiFi first and not my WiFi network however this was only the case if using the WeMo app to add it. After all the plugs are added and properly configured, open the WeMo app and update the firmware. It took about 5-10 minutes to add each outlet - mostly just waiting as it configures itself. I’ve read some reviews about issues with installation but honestly this is nothing dissimilar from any other smart home device. Just set some time aside and do a little online research that may help depending on your homes setup (HomeKit, Android, Alexa, etc). As I’m logged into all my accounts, Alexa easily found and added the outlets after completion. I just had to open the Alexa app to place them properly. Otherwise they’re perfect. I use them to control three Christmas trees and two three story banisters with holiday lights, all setup with timers, etc.

While we still have a few of the prior version of this plug, this one is more compact and seems to work better with our WiFi and smart devices. A 4-star rating only because it will still occasionally, but only occasionally, not work with Alexa or Google. Would still buy again.

That was very easy to set up and does the trick, and the HomeKit functionality works great. The only issue I'm having is getting the device to turn on with its timer functionality. Likely just requires patience and troubleshooting, two things which I don't have much of these days.

Have bought many of these and continue to as they are made with quality. Their mobile app is great, plugs work reliably with GoogleHome, and there are 3rd-party packages to integrate these with other IoT systems. Also, the latest firmware has further improved these plugs; if power is lost (breaker trips, etc.) the plug more-or-less instantly reconnects itself to the router. Once up & running, troubleshooting is rarely required.

Very easy set up and works with home kit/Siri. I use it with a Bedroom lamp and works great - hey Siri turn the light off.

Great device to get started with a home automation. Works with Apple Home and Alexa voice commands.

Whereas some products are a real pain to setup, this device is easy to configure and ready to go. It is super reliable!!!

Ok, where do i start? This product is safe to plug a heater into. Was going on vacation and didnt want my pipes to freeze. The device worked PERFECTLY for that. There were no app problems and all was right in my little smart world. Then about a week ago it just started disconnecting on its own.I would unplug plug back in and plug heater back then it came up again.The device WAS perfect while it was working correctly. I dont know how to fully review this item until i see if it keeps disconnecting. I was so impressed with it at first that i bought a 2nd one. I have not set that one up yet. If i can figure out how to fix this issue i will update rating.

I have a lot of smart home products in my home. Mostly everything thing from lights to refrigerators are all part of my smart home. I love these Wemo smarts plugs! I have other brands of smart plugs and these are by far the best. They were very easy to set up and add to HomeKit. I have had no issues with these yet. The other brands I have to randomly unplug the to reset them. I haven’t experienced this problem with Wemo plugs yet. Great buy, I wish all my smart plugs were Wemo’s.

Small and compact easy To use will recommend this product,, comes in handy when you have an existing Wemo product.

Setup can be a bit frustrating, but once it’s connected it works perfectly. No complaints from me.

I am trying to automate my home with Apple HomeKit and this is perfect. It took me about 4 hours to set it up, it’s probably my wifi or some tb Ing relative. I’m not sure. Besides that, it works so good and I would totally recommend it more than its other competitors.

Used two of these to allow remote and timed control of two separate inside holiday light displays, eliminating the need to access plugs in inconvenient places and the need to remember to turn off the lights. Now part of my holiday lights kit!

This smart plug was easy to setup. I did have a connection issue after a couple days. I had to exchange it for another unit. The replacement has been fine now for a few days. I enjoy using this with my phone and my smart watch. No issues to report. Great product.

They are small and compact. Lacking in features other than simple on/off in the WeMo app. These replaced Wyze smart plugs, due to these having native Apple HomeKit support. Otherwise, the Wyze plugs has a nice and more features in their app.

These are great and quite compact. The only issue I had is that I launched a new wireless network after I had already set them up and it took me a while to figure out how to reset. If you find yourself in this position, hold down the power button with it unplugged, and then plug it in and continue to hold down the power button until the little light starts flashing rapidly. Then you'll be able to reconfigure the network settings. I use Apple Home Kit by the by.

These plugs tend to loose connection more so than they keep it. Google and Alexa always have problems controlling them and updates brick them.
