Our washer quit after 10 years and after doing a ton of research this washer was the winner. We've had it for a couple months and love it.

It appears to be doing it's job though I normally tell that by examining water during use. I can't with this as the cover locks during use

This washing machine is fantastic value for money. I do actually prefer front load washing machines (as I find they are easier on your clothes) but they are just too expensive for me. This washer does everything it needs to without all the bells and whistles. You can change the load size, water temp, and wash and rinse cycles.... what more does one really need?

My old whirlpool washer starting to fail after 18 years. Found this model during the Presidents Day sale. Could not pass it up. Purchased the matching dryer as well.

We moved to an apartment and left our washer expensive H/E Washer at our old place. I must say, I'm much more satisfied with this one. It's bigger, quieter, and faster. I couldn't be happier.

If your looking for a basic machine that will get your clothes clean then this is a good one. Your not getting an ultra fancy design or alot of bells and whistles but its gets the job done.

I love my new washer. It is very quiet when running and excellent on the amount of water used. I also like the dual rinse cycle (didn't have this on my old machine).

I am very happy with this purchase, which is why I'm taking the time to write a review. Its just been super easy and enjoyable to use. I prefer simplicity and would still choose this OVER any other more expensive machine. This machine can handle major cleaning too. I washed my white couch slip cover that was extremely dirty, so dirty that it looked beige colored with major stains. I pretreated the entire slip cover with LA Totally awesome from the dollar store (if you haven't heard of this stuff then you must immediately run out and buy some, its an all purpose cleaner) and I put bleach in the dispenser and washed on hot....anyway the slip cover came out a bright white, ALL the stains came out. Pros: -Really gets clothes super clean -Quiet -tub is a good size -simple to use -dispensers for bleach and fabric softener -tub fills all the way up with water -control panel is nice looking -GREAT deal on sale for $379 (refreshing to see a high quality machine at an affordable price) -gentle on clothes but effectively gets them clean...you won't find your clothes tangled or stretched out....but they will be clean -wet clothes get spun out enough that they dry quickly in dryer -you can change the water temp after you have started a load Cons: -Locking feature- must get clothes in the tub while the water is filling, and you must shut the lid within a minute or so after it fills up otherwise the water will drain (what you can do to avoid this if your running late, is shut the lid so the cycle starts washing and just unlock the lid to add more clothes...its very easy to unlock the lid and not a big deal) -once you choose a water level, and start a load, you cannot change the water level after the fact -weird sounds to get used too, albeit the machine is pretty quite for a washing machine

We purchased a less expensive washer as we didn't need all the bells and whistles. Our new Whirlpool works great, just a little more noisy than our last one. We just shut our door to our laundry room.

Bought it to replace 2 1/2 year old front loader that the bearings went out. Will stick with top loader!
