I purchased this washer as a replacement for my old machine that quit working. The washer worked great for a few weeks then quit mid cycle. Since this machine did not cost a lot of money, I didn't expect much...just a low cost machine that would last a couple of years. Unfortunately the washer fell short of expectations lasting only 6 weeks. Now I will see how the GeekSquad performs in the repair. To start off...it is taking them over a week to come evaluate the repairs.

This washer is extremely loud. Makes a lot of noise. Do not use if someone is trying to sleep.

Decent machine, but would probably spend a little more and get a lot more quality.

Will not wash with hot water, found it agitating a load while only 1/2 full of cold water. Lid lock will drive you crazy. Designed for people who need to save water and electricity, not clean their laundry. You should study the reviews about this model before you buy one. Very light duty.

The Kendall store and staff have been great. They switched out my machine once, but unfortunately I'm still unable to get warm water for washing clothing. Only very hot or cold. This is the second unit of the same Whirlpool model that I'm experiencing a problem with and the manufacturer should stand behind their products. Best Buy has been more than fair. Thank you Emma!

Broke 2 weeks out of warranty, Best Buy won't help.

This washer was a dissapointment. It left clothes saturated in water as if it never went thru a spin cycle.

Got the unit delivered today and have run 5 loads of laundry so far. - Other website reviews said something about the hot water not being hot. Maybe those people need to adjust their water heater because the hot water setting does give hot water, hot enough for steam to be visible. - The noise level is acceptable, better than older machines, not super quiet like the much more expensive machines. When I close my laundry room door you can barely hear it. - Clothes come out clean and fresh as they should - The controls are easy to use and there are plenty of no frill settings. Temperature ranges from Hot to tap cold and you are able to select the water level you want to use, no smart tech here which is fine by me. - This unit is not HE so do not buy the HE soap. Also I didnt really care about that personally. If you are looking for a relatively cheap washer from a name brand with none of that new expensive tech, this is the washer to buy. I will report back after a few months of usage but so far I dont see anything wrong with the machine.

large capacity is great for king size sheets and blankets

Ordered this washer along the matching dryer to replace my 9 year old Whirlpool set. Never had a single problem with my old set. This washer has a larger rated capacity but does not hold as much. Controls are easy to use but this unit it LOUD. Seems to have problems on the spin cycle with balance. On loads of towels the washer just about walks itself across my laundry room. Would not recommend this unit for a large family. Does not have an end of cycle signal. Seems like you pay more and get less as my old unit did have end of cycle signal.

I have had the washer for less then a week and the Geek Squad is coming to repair it. The warm water setting doesn't work and the agitator barely moves.
