WORKS HARD SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Scenario: my husband is disabled so there is laundry to be done every day.My washing machine broke down at the beginning of the pandemic so needless to say,I was stuck washing everything by hand in the bathtub for way longer than anyone should have to. I came to the Best Buy sight off & on to check for updated delivery info & much to my surprise, one day they were back up & running. I scoured through the items & decided this one was within my budget(on sale & at the time, free delivery & removal) & had ok reviews. No bells or whistles-just a plain ole washing machine-exactly what I wanted.Happy to report that it works great. Easy to use, clothes are clean, love the manual settings & made in USA. I do a lot of laundry & this machine has gone above & beyond. Only warning is to make sure you purchase a separate drain hose-the one that comes with it is useless.(You also have to purchase hoses that hook up the water to the machine as they are not included, but that is typical of all washers) It should be noted that the delivery guys were the best. They didn't have to come into the living area as my washer is in the cellar& accessible through an outside door-they were masked gloved & very concientious. Installation was quick & professional. Very grateful for Best Buy & those 2 guys for rescuing me from spending entire days of handwashing. Thank you.

Good washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a very good and reliable washer that I have ever owned. Before this washer I used the same brand but older model. That one was very noisy and very hard to use. This new one it will determine the amounts of water that it needed to complete the load. Very easy to use, you just leave it and it will do the job for you. I’m happy to choose this washer and I have to thank to the salesman who introduced this machine for me.

Good basic washer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Basic washer. Does a good job washing clothes. The agitator cleans better than my old and more expensive washer that did not have an agitator. The only negative is that it is noisy.

Gets the job done.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does its job as a washing machine. I find it a little loud and the spin cycle has always had a bit of a grind sound to it, but from having it looked at - it's just how it is. I like the central agitator because it's the type of machine I was raised using. It's big enough for comforters but will adjust to smaller loads just fine. I appreciate the various options for cycle types, but would have preferred a manual load size selection in addition to the auto-select.

Washes well but water level hard to control
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall like the options for how soiled and washing temps, but auto sensing modes seem to only consider the weight of the load because even when set to Bulky/Sheets it still only put in enough water to barely cover the sheets and they came out knarled and twisted. Will try Deep Wash mode next time.

Good machine.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Few things I don't care for, takes at least 10 min longer than my last washer. Mostly because it is filling up the machine with water. It stops and starts the water flow, I assume because it is sensing how much water to use. The machine shakes a lot during the spin cycle. I made the mistake of leaving my phone and detergent on it and came back a few minutes later to find all items on the floor. Not sure if there is something I need to do or if the machine just shakes a lot. It is a bit loud as it shuts the water flow on and off.

Does a great job and doesn't cost a bundle.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a basic washer no fancy bells and whistles as it would be in an outdoor shed in Arizona. Fancy machines are ruined quickly by the heat. I have had it 3 weeks now and it doing a fabulous job. Husband's socks are coming out clean. It runs quietly. Especially the spin cycle. Old washer sounded like a 747 was in the hallway. The spin cycle really extracts the water. Clothes take less time in the dryer. This one is a keeper.

Works Quite Well
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes a lot of clicking and whirring sounds but I think most of that is from the auto water level feature. Fairly simple to operate. Wife likes the bigger wash tub. Door locks during certain times of the cycle. Guess they have to protect us from ourselves. I remember the old wringer washers ... you could lose a body part in one of those. Hope this Whirlpool lasts as long as the old one. In this day and age, maybe not. We are happy with this new washer.

Basic Washing Machine
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Generally, the washer is exactly what I expected. Easy to use and gets the cloths clean. My only criticism is that the washing machine is very loud. During the wash cycle the pipes throughout the house shake every time the water flow starts or stops.

Great compact size for how big the inside is
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely saves on water. It’s big enough to fit my king size comforters and it fits more clothes than a normal load which saves time on laundry day. It’s done in half the time because you’re basically fitting 2 loads in one! If I had one complaint (unless there’s something I haven’t figured out yet) is not all of my wash loads come out smelling really clean. It’s possible I’m either not using enough laundry detergent or haven’t set to the correct wash load for a heavy soiled load. It’s still fairly new and have had it for a short time, so still tinkering around each load of laundry.

very good
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1 year and 4 months later still working great, love the water level control option, washes clothes well, no problems, is a bit noisy but I can close my laundry room door, huge amount of space for clothes so much so that my dryer can't handle a full load of towels

Works for the purpose
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a replacement for an older unit that died. Repair cost was going to be prohibitive. The buying experience was good, sales associate knew his stuff, and was open to discussing bad points of different models, as well as good. Delivery was prompt, installation was quick and clean, and the old unit was hauled away for us. Simple in operation - how many lights and dials do you *need* on a washer, anyway? - and works just fine for our needs. The only reason not to give it 5 stars, is that it's louder in operation than the old one. Not horribly loud, but noticeably so.

Quality and Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a great product. For ease of use it would be nice if the water continued running with the lid open. I personally don't care for the auto sensing water fill but it works the way it's supposed to. If I was overly worried about that I could have spent more money on another washer, but the price was right for me. For a quality washer at a good price this is a great buy.

Pictures (poor Quality) of Tape on top of washer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been so disappointed about this washer, due to the invisible tape attached above the knobs on top of the washer. After being told not to remove it immediately and waiting till next day I attempted to remove it. Unfortunately tape was stuck so strong that it removed the light blue paint and I had to stop removing the tape. This made the new washer look old and cheap. This washer also makes unusual annoying sounds when changing cycles. Sounds that my old Maytag didn't make.

Less is more
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have tried all the latest and greatest the industry has to offer, only to be replacing or rebuilding it the moment warranty runs out. We have had the Simple large capacity commercial Dryer that matches this unit for 4 flawless years of use. So lets see how the washer does. So far the large capacity and agitator wash along with simplistic settings are awesome

One year in: still a great washer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had this washer for a year this week. It is still doing great. We were worried about the water saving features on this washer at first but after running it with the deep water wash and rinse a few times we experimented with the auto fill cycles and the clothes were getting cleaned just as well. This washer will was some clothes, the agitator actually works and be careful using the heavy soil setting. Only do that if you have some heavy clothes like really dirty jeans or overalls. Using that cycle on lesser items might get too rough. It's been a great washer and if I had to do it again I would purchase this one again

Love my Whirlpool!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My last Whirlpool lasted 25 yrs., so I wasn't surprised that this Whirlpool washer was the best choice after I researched many other brands. I didn't want all the "bells & whistles" to complicate my life, so I decided on this Whirlpool model as it fit my needs & was sleek & clean to look at. My only disappointment is that it has the energy efficient water levels which are quite low, but everything seems to come out very clean. Also it is a very quiet machine.
