Customers are saying
Customers often highlight the excellent wash quality, ease of use, and capacity of this 3.8 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Top Load Washer. Many appreciate its performance and find it a great value for the price. However, some customers note that the washer can be quite loud and that the spin cycle may be a concern for some users. The presence of an agitator is a positive feature for many buyers.

Pleased with purchase so far
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have only used it a few times but seems to work very well. Clothes are clean and wash is done faster than with my old machine. Uses less water as well. It is not excessively loud or shake excessively during the spin cycle as some other reviews have claimed. I'm quite satisfied with this purchase.

Great washer with deep fill option and agitator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this washer. I previously had a washer that did not fill completely with water and did not have an agitator. I hated it. This washer has a deep fill option with an agitator. It cleans really well. Laundry is fun again!

Simple Design, Cleans Very Well
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this Whirlpool after our 33 and a half year old Kenmore washer died. So far this washer is working out just fine. One of the washer hoses sprung a leak (two holes) after only three weeks and flooded our utility room, but that’s of course not the washer’s fault! We purchased a different brand of hose and those are working well so far. We chose this washer because of its simple design and the fact that it has an agitator. At first it was strange to put the detergent in, then clothes, then start the machine. We were used to starting the old washer and adding detergent while water filled the tub. I do wish it had a spot for detergent like some other models. But now we’re getting used to it and this machine cleans very well. Cycles do take longer than on our old washer, but clothes come out less damp so they don’t take as long to dry. All in all we are happy with our purchase and we hope this machine will last many years to come.

Lotta washing machine for a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washing machine has so much going or it. First, I don't have to assign the load level, it does that automatically. It is very simple to use...just add detergent, your clothes, and hit start. It does make a lot of noise while it measures the necessary height for the water, but you get used to that pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great machine at a nice price!

You don't need a $2k washer - this one is great!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am surprised by how large the tub is. It can wash a much larger load than my previous, 24-year-old washer. It's quiet, efficient, and does a great job. I mean, if you want to spend $2,000 on a washer, go ahead. Me? I'd rather buy this great washer.

Great Washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great machine for the price. Louder and less features than expensive models but does a great job and I like the auto fill feature.

Works well, but let's address water level
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the oddest washing machine we have ever owned. It appears to magically work somehow with very little water. We are so used to opening the washing machine lid for whatever reason and see it filled with water. Don't expect it on this machine, it never gets over a few inches, not even over the clothes but somehow it miraculously does a fine job. This really needs to be part of the description of the washing machine. If you read through the reviews you will see people who check the water level freaked out by the lack of water in tub. Yet as I said, it seems to work, just be aware of this "new" way of washing.

Good quality lower end unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our washer broke right before we sold our house and had to replace it with a comparable unit. Good space and cleans well. It is a little louder then I would have liked and you need to balance correctly so it will not shake to much. Overall a decent lower level option.

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BOUGHT IT AGAIN FOR DUPLEX⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Game Changer for Laundry! This washer and dryer set has made laundry so much easier! The washer cleans clothes thoroughly, even on quick cycles, and is surprisingly quiet. The dryer gets everything dry in one go, with no damp spots, and the lint filter is easy to clean. Both units feel sturdy, look great, and have plenty of settings for different fabrics. I’ve noticed my clothes come out fresher and softer than with my old machines. Highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade!

Like but not love
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part I really like it, especially after having a washer that only had one cycle left. I got this one to match the dryer I already had. There are almost too many options on the washer. My biggest dislike is that there is no way to control the water level as its auto sensing. I have checked my loads and feel some could use more water, sometimes its not even covering all the items in the washer. Im still trying to get used to the start button and the flashing lights to know when its actually going to start.

Not what I was expecting but it’s doing it’s job.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was to replace a Kenmore (Whirlpool) I had had for 15 years that had things slowly breaking. I didn’t notice this was HE. I didn’t want an HE, but Whirlpool says that’s all they make now. Because I can’t see the washer fill, and I can’t see soap and bubbles like before, I don’t trust that it’s getting my clothes clean. I’m sure it is. I also wanted a top loader so it wouldn’t lock like a front loader. It still locks. It also makes all kinds of mechanical noises, likely the auto sensing everything (Aka more parts to break). I’m sure it’s fine, I just wasn’t ready to be thrust into 2022 washing machine technology quite so violently. :-). Capacity is very large.

Works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this washer about a month now. It works as intended and does a good job. I do wish you could fill the washer first before adding detergent and clothes. If you try to fill the machine empty, it doesn't fill up. The water runs and honestly I don't know where it goes, but even after several minutes there is no water in the bottom. So you are forced to put the clothes in first as it has an auto-sensing water level sensor. But again, it washes well.

Washer has performed well with ease of operation
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our old washer was still working, but we decided to buy both washer and dryer since it was a good bargain. The washer has performed as stated and it has been easy to transition to a new unit. It has many features, but not so many to complicate or make difficult to operate.

It's a work Horse!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only had this washer since Friday but have put it through a test for sure. The drum is huge! I washed a quilt (full size) and it only took up half of the space with plenty of room for another one. I like the stainless steel drum and the size of it makes it easy to put clothes in. Even with the agitator in the center, it did not interfere with anything. Taking the clothes out was just as easy. It's a deep drum and me being short I did have to stand on my toes to get small things out. I'm use to that and most drums are the same depth. So many washing settings and I tried several of them and was not disappointed. So - stop reading reviews after reviews and go ahead and order this one with the matching dryer. If you don't like you can always send it back but I feel like it will be a part of your family for a long time!!

Good purchase for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this washer but I'm gonna be honest....I was used to my old Whirlpool that had the detergent dispenser, the fabric softener AND the chlorine bleach dispenser all on the top of the washer when you opened the lid. I find myself loading the washer without putting the detergent in first, then I have to take everything out & put the detergent in. The fabric softer has to go in the middle of the agitator, with extra water, then you have to select the extra rinse which takes longer and more water to do a load. It's a little noisy but it's in our laundry room so it really doesn't bother me. I know I've listed several negative issues but I DO like the machine so far. I didn't want to spend over $500 for a machine so for the money I did spend I think it was worth it. I just prefer the older Whirlpool that I had to "retire" after many years of good service.

Be prepared...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve always bought Whirlpool(2) so I’m not familiar with the other brands by comparison. The last one I had was over 20 years old. It never needed repairs until the drum stopped agitating so I decided it was time to buy a new one. I read the online manual for this model at Whirlpool's website before it arrived. I knew I wanted to be prepared for all the modern features that were boggling my mind after reading the advert and these reviews. For example, I was very apprehensive about the “lid lock” feature. I want to be able to open that lid any time I want. Water level sensors? OMG. I want to be able to control my own water level. Whirlpool has always been reliable so they’ve earned my trust. I took another chance and they did not disappoint me. This machine is amazing! I love it! I can’t think of anything critical or to suggest an improvement. It’s worth every penny!

So Far So Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After hearing a lot of horror stories from family and friends about the front load washing machines, we decided to stick with a simple top load washing machine with an agitator to replace our old washer. Although a little noisier than our last, this unit seems to be working pretty well.

Love this washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the washer and the size is perfect with room for a very large load if needed. Some reviews say it’s noisy but it’s not noisy enough to me to be a problem, just as normal as any other washer. I’m happy with my purchase so far.

Great washing machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a great washing machine! It’s simple and easy to use. It’s big enough to wash my queen size bedding. It doesn’t lock until it’s in rinse mode, so you can add more clothes during wash cycle. I am not sure about other types of washing machines nor have I researched why but according to the user manual, we need to dilute fabrics softener.
