Customers often highlight the excellent wash quality, ease of use, and capacity of this 3.8 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Top Load Washer. Many appreciate its performance and find it a great value for the price. However, some customers note that the washer can be quite loud and that the spin cycle may be a concern for some users. The presence of an agitator is a positive feature for many buyers.

I like this washer but I'm gonna be honest....I was used to my old Whirlpool that had the detergent dispenser, the fabric softener AND the chlorine bleach dispenser all on the top of the washer when you opened the lid. I find myself loading the washer without putting the detergent in first, then I have to take everything out & put the detergent in. The fabric softer has to go in the middle of the agitator, with extra water, then you have to select the extra rinse which takes longer and more water to do a load. It's a little noisy but it's in our laundry room so it really doesn't bother me. I know I've listed several negative issues but I DO like the machine so far. I didn't want to spend over $500 for a machine so for the money I did spend I think it was worth it. I just prefer the older Whirlpool that I had to "retire" after many years of good service.

After hearing a lot of horror stories from family and friends about the front load washing machines, we decided to stick with a simple top load washing machine with an agitator to replace our old washer. Although a little noisier than our last, this unit seems to be working pretty well.

It’s a great washing machine! It’s simple and easy to use. It’s big enough to wash my queen size bedding.
It doesn’t lock until it’s in rinse mode, so you can add more clothes during wash cycle. I am not sure about other types of washing machines nor have I researched why but according to the user manual, we need to dilute fabrics softener.

I have had the machine for about a month and so far so good. At least I don’t have to babysit it like my last Samsung washer! I have tried both propeller and agitator models of wash machines and prefer the agitator. I think it cleans better and my sheets are not tangled up and making for an unbalanced load.

Initially didn't want the agitator because I thought I'd be losing space, but this washer is big enough to wash several blankets at once, with the agitator. I've always been a fan of the agitator because I believe it cleans clothes better, glad I stuck with it.

My choice of washer and dryer was entirely dictated by the depth of the units due to limited space. Even though the cost for the set was more than $1400, it is a very basic set. The steel tub is very thin and the plastic components are cheaply made. It is also quite noisy. But this washer meets my two highest requirements, it fits in the laundry room and it gets my laundry clean, including king size linens. My last Whirlpool set lasted 27 years, I’m hoping to get a long service life from this set.

This washer is huge on the inside and the agitator works well on tough, heavily soiled loads. I've tried other auto sensing washers and had to return them because the auto sensing did not provide enough water to wash a large load of clothes and the agitator barely moved. However, this washer provided plenty of water to wash a large load. I, personally, do not like these new technology washers, but this one seemed to do the job. One thing I do not like is when the washer locks during the rinse cycle or stops washing/agitating when you open it. As I understand it, all the new washers do this.

We are very happy with our purchase!!! The whirlpool washer performs better then we expected!!!!! It’s the perfect size and I love how it has a the agitator in the middle. We did have to order both washer and dryer but that experience went great as well. It was delivered on time and they even helped install it. If you’re looking for a great washer with a great price then look no further than this top loader whirlpool.

We needed a washer and dryer and did not want one with too many bells and whistles that could break and cause expensive repairs. We have had this one for over a year and the only thing about it we dont like is it is a little noisy but you limit that by balancing the feet. Not a big deal and it was worth it.

Needed a washer that would fit in our closet, which this does perfectly. Does everything we need and haven't had any issues so far. It is a little noisy so if you are looking for something quiet that is something to consider.

Whirlpool - 3.8 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Top Load Washer with 360 Wash Agitator - White
This washer was a waste of money, bought this washer brand new April 2023 and it’s been giving on and off problems. The water level is low, not enough to cover my clothes, when it rinses it will leave my clothes soapy if I don’t put less than the recommended amount. It doesn’t spin the clothes to get out the excess water for the dryer.
It started making noise a month ago as if it’s on the draining cycle even when the cycle is completed so I have to unplug it. It takes multiple tries to get it to start a wash cycle, I just don’t know what’s going on.
I am sure it’s this brand and type of washer because my friend got the same washer as me a week after I bought mine and she is currently experiencing the very same issues with this washer. Now we will have to buy a new washer. This one did not even last 2 years

Not sure how to rate this washer yet; it seems to shake/shimmy a little too much when it is in spin cycle, but I'm not sure if that is normal for this washer. It does clean our clothes beautifully and, once it has gone through the spin cycle, the clothes are rung out nicely.
