Nice and simple and works great. So much better than the Samsung which started rusting all over after 5 years!
This machine is a little load but cleans great. Removable agitator feature is great.
Only thing that I had to get used to was that there is no detergent or softener dispenser. You just put it in the machine before the clothes. You have to use HE detergent and softener which I was already using.

I love this washer real easy to operate and I love the bigger size. Makes washing cloth comforters/ sheets so much easier. I highly Recommend the larger size.

Love the removable agitator option, very simple to use. Nice large capacity & deep water fill... you can wash bigger loads, blankets, rugs, etc. Washer is a little louder, no soap or softener dispenser. The one thing that impresses me the most about this washer is the spin cycle. The clothes barely feel wet, saves less drying time.

I went from a very high end Samsung unit to this very practical Whirlpool and I cannot emphasize enough the difference in level of cleaning. This unit is much, MUCH, better. The Samsung took F O R E V E R and still failed to get deodorant from armpits for instance and this unit is great at that; among getting other unmentionables out. I wish it was quieter but that's a small trade off for thorough and fast cleaning.

Machine is a little loud but nothing that can't be tolerated. I have had no problems with unbalances loads as other has comment about. No real complaints its a washer and it works well. Only had it for about 2 weeks so take this at a two week look. Will update if it starts to act up, but for now all is good.

Our old washing machine died, so we needed to replace it. We picked this one as it has a removable agitator. We could never fit our duvet cover in our old one, but it fits nicely in here. So far it has not had any balancing issues. Our old one would travel across the laundry room while making an awful noise. I highly recommend this Whirlpool one.

The whirlpool washing machine is a good overall machine. Like the 2 in 1 agitator that you can remove for large loads and comforters. The wash cycles work well, like everything else you have to make slight adjustments as you learn how it works. Spin cycle is good. Average noise like most washers but not over the top. Wash time is a little longer than my previous washer. I would recommend this washing machine though it costs more than average.

I am writing to express my concern regarding the performance of my Whirlpool top-load washer, Model Number WTW5057LW, Serial Number Cd0502028, purchased in March 2024.
Approximately May 10, 2025, just 60 days after the warranty expired, the removable agitator (Part Number: W11614636) began breaking apart at the bottom, causing it to no longer make a proper seal. This renders the washer less effective and raises concerns about the quality and durability of the part—especially since I only do about 1 to 2 loads of laundry per week.
I contacted Whirlpool’s service department and was informed that I would need to purchase a replacement agitator, which I did at my own expense. While I understand that the warranty had just lapsed, I feel this failure so soon after the coverage period—especially with such light usage—indicates a premature defect and not ordinary wear and tear. My previous Whirlpool washer lasted over 20 years without such issues, which makes this situation particularly disappointing.

We came in to Best Buy looking for a cheaper washer, but we chose this product instead. Really appreciate the removable agitator in the middle. This is a great washing machine very big. Just sort of strange that you can’t choose the size of your load though, and that is why I am giving it four stars.

Great capacity and good option of removing the agitator. But very load during spin cycle. Its been 2 weeks since I got it so i will have wait for little longer to provide a full feedback

I am satisfied with the machine. I really like the removable agitator - it gives more options depending on the load. And it has a great spin cycle. It could be considered a little loud, but I've not been bothered by it. If the laundry room is close to other living quarters, it may be an issue. I have no complaints - it works as advertised.

Some exception to this Whirlpool Washer.
Quit noisy, does not let you know when the rinse cycle comes on, does not have a timer to let you know how long the wash cycle is. Spin Cycle does not spin dry clothes thoroughly. Clothes come out sought of wet.

We recently moved, but had this same model for the previous house. We decided to order it again for the new house. Does a good job cleaning clothes, and the removable agitator is a good feature for cleaning large items.

Its not loud as the other reviews stated. It makes clothes very clean and in a good time frame. The only thing is, this is a brand new washer yet it doesnt come with any slots to put anything so it all goes directly into the washer and you have to use a downy ball. There is also no timer so you cant see how long is left

This looks nice. I’m not too fond of how it goes off balance and can’t recorrect itself! You can remove the agitator before blankets was the idea of the removable agitator. It’s still a job rearranging a wet big blanket to help it spin. I wish also it could tell you the minutes left to the load. It doesn’t even ding or buzz it just shuts off. Minor but annoying

The starting sequence is confusing and the cycle sits on ‘soak’ for a long time before the cycle begins. Whole cycle is quite long, so takes all day to do several loads of wash. Accomodates large loads however . I like the removable agitator and the see through glass top. Reasonable price
