It was striped and spinning separate from the motor. And out of pocket expense of $260. This dryer seen no more that 6 loads a week. Very disappointed in the quality of this dryer. Our last one was still going strong at 17 year when we need to replace the set.

When I tried using it for the first time, we discovered it wouldn't work. We called the authorized service provider and were told we'd need a parts replacement (the circuit board malfunctioned). The part has been requested, and we've been waiting almost three months. Now it's a blame game between Whirlpool, the supply chain issues, the microprocessor crisis (believe me), and the service provider, and no one can give me the parts, much less an ETA. I'm again on the phone with Whirlpool, saying they don't even know which part I need because the service provider still needs to fill it in their system. Thanks, Whirlpool, I tried to support Michigan, and now I have a big useless grey box in my laundry,

This one did the job and performs spectacularly! Note that the electric outlet cable does not come with the machine and that you need to reuse your old one or buy a new cable.

Customer service has been absolutely worthless. Going to have to replace it after not even two years. Definitely not purchasing another Whirlpool appliance.

ITs brand new we got it in July 2023. I do not recommend this set we have had issues from day one with it shutting off and not drying anything or the buttons not working on it.
