It immediately made a very loud thumping noise along with a grinding sound. Obvious a drum or bearing issue. Advised the manager at Best Buy and he assured me that all open boxes are tested by the geek team. My opinion is there is no way this dryer was tested and the failure was likely the reason the previous buyer returned the dryer. The geek service management also needs attention with their scheduling. We decided to return the dryer rather than wait for Best Buy repair.

Has been defective multiple times

Warranty department is easy to work with, but it would be better if the dryer would stop breaking
