Great open box deal, been using for a few months now with no issues

The sensor that is supposed to detect when the clothes are dry is off and our clothes are always damp still. Even on the highest dryness setting. So the dryer will end its cycle early and at that point, we should have bought the cheapest unit with a simple timer and heat setting.

We are pleased with the item. I am glad we switched to whirlpool. The chrome color is elegant and it’s functions does well. Overall, I like it and hopefully it will function longer than what we have previously for more than a decade.

Works easily and efficiently. Great sensing system.

I’ve been using it consistently for a couple of weeks now and its by far the best appliance I have used. It looks great, and is very quiet! Incredibly happy with this purchase and I would recommend it to anybody!

I hate this dryer with a passion Delivered in Jan 2023 and being replaced in Dec 2024. It doesn’t dry clothes! It takes FOREVER to dry anything, even when you select the driest settings. It is also LOUD. Sheets end up all balled up or tangled. I have to take them out multiple times to ensure they get dried properly. This is such a disappointing piece of expensive, disposable junk. I can’t wait to have it hauled off. On top of all this frustration a few weeks ago it started making a horrible noise when it starts if the load is heavier, i.e. towels or bedding. As if the drum is backing up first. I would not spend a dime on servicing this junk. Whirlpool is off the list of appliances until such time they start making quality products again that do what they are supposed to do.

Operation of appliance is solid. Service on install was great. Issue is after market service. Appliance was damaged on delivery. Dented and scratch. I accepted appliance with promise of discount credit. No credit was ever issued!

Dryer doesn’t heat up and keeps going out on eco mode… and customer service hasn’t been any help

I was looking forward to this dryer - it was a real upgrade from my one prior but several functions did not work properly right from the start. The normal/eco setting didn't have any problems on the first dryer, but whenever i set it to "quick dry" it got very hot and turned off by itself half way through. It wouldn't turn back on, the screen went black and it seemed as though there was no power. I unplugged and plugged back in and still nothing. I checked my power source and breaker box and nothing was out of sorts. In about 20 minutes it turned back on by itself and flashed two error codes. The timed-dry setting did the same thing. This happened a few times at least, enough for me to realize the dryer was defective. When i spoke to a best buy rep via chat they told me what the error codes meant (issues with power - overheating ultimately) and we decided to have the dryer replaced with another, same make and model. Sadly, the second dryer was also defective. At one point it got hung up on the normal/eco setting with 1 minute left for over ten minutes so i had to stop it manually. Then the next time i used the normal/eco setting it stopped on it's own like the first dryer did on the quick dry setting and would not turn back on. I've decided to completely abandon this model and am in the middle of returning the second dryer now for a completely different one. If I can receive two defective dryers of the same make/model in a row, i'm definitely not taking chances and buying a third.

This is a great dryer, dry's in a good time, Only thing i would say is sometimes it doesn't turn on when we want it to. something with the touch buttons. but other then that its a really good dryer

I purchased this about a month ago for my first apartment and have runna dozen loads of laundry through it. It works very well and seems to be a hihh quality machine.

Works great, 100% satisfied cant wait to get the matching washer and stack them to have more space!!!

It's a pretty good dryer. The lint catcher and front door are a little light and flimsy, but for the money, can't complain.
