The concept of a Top Loader without an agitator was pretty cool, but it doesn't work in reality. The Large capacity is all this washer has going for it, except the cool touch screen. The "Quick Wash" is the fastest setting at 45minutes... but your clothes won't come out completely clean. I have to always use the "Deep Water" setting in order for the clothes to wash properly. Those loads take 108 minutes. You definitely can't just throw a load in real quick. You have to make sure the center is completely open (as if there were an agitator) AND the clothes must be evenly distributed in a ring, lightly on top of each other. If you want to give teenage boys more steps to skip and mess up, buy this washer. If I could do it over again, I would buy a Speed Queen.

Works great and as mentioned. Machine has plenty of wash/cycle options to choose. Overall, a good buy as a first washing machine

I am really happy we chose this washer. you don't have to select water level for the size of the load. Just add the clothes and the machine adds the proper amount of water for the load. Great machine.

After owning 2 front loader washers, Both Garbage.(Samsung & Electrolux). This Whirlpool top load washer is easy to to use. No vibration & Quiet. It handles all size loads with ease.

This unit is great for the mid price mid option for a family of 4. The options are plenty and the operation is quiet. This looks great too. Clothes seem to be clean as advertised.

Simple & modern controls. Sturdy machine, heavier than my previous washer. Only issue was balancing it. The feet do not adjust as much as my older model did. Still, very pleased.

Exactly what I needed. This was a Maytag replacement that died on us after 6 short years. I hope this one will live long years just like the other whirlpool we had.

We have only had the washer and dryer for a few days, but so far they are great. They were delivered and set up by geek squad, who were on time and very professional as they did their job.

My clothes washer broke down after nine years. When I visited my local Best Buy to shop for a new washer, I was not used to seeing the high efficiency washers without the center agitator pole. I researched several different brands, read the online reviews including the reviews from a popular consumer magazine. I narrowed my selection down to this Whirlpool Cabrio 4.8 cu.ft washer since it offered the best value. The touchscreen is very intuitive. It's got more functions than I will ever use. Buttons light up in blue when selected. Wash times will vary depending on the functions you choose, but expect significant wash times in excess of one hour. Sensors automatically detect the load size. Gone are the days of manually selecting small, medium, and large. So how does it perform? I was able to place my king size comforter in the 4.8 cu. ft. tub with no problem. Clothes come out clean. At its highest spin setting, clothes will be wrinkly but very dry, thus decreasing dry times in the dryer. The washer is not loud at all. In fact it is very quiet compared to the old washer I had. The label on the washer proudly bears the 'Designed, Engineered, and Assembled in the USA' label. I've had the washer for two months now, so far so good, but time will tell how durable it is. Overall, I would recommend the washer.

Was excited to get this super-efficient washer. But - major issue is that it won't rinse off soap suds. It stains all my dark clothes (see photo of my nice work clothes ruined). So I now need to wash those by hand. I've had efficient washers before, always use HE detergent. Disappointed with this unit; can't wait to replace - hope Whirlpool improves the quality of its products.

I actually found this as an open box but it was really nice. I usually read reviews before buying but this was worth the money. The tub is spacious and quiet. I love the digital screen.

It's a little loud and Tends not to eliminate fuzz after washing.The price was right

After returning a defective unit. The second one works perfectly, my wife likes that it automatically senses the amount of load and adjusts the water acordingly.

This washer is not bad but you cannot put too much clothes in at a time maybe half way.

I have always heard cabrio were good washing machines, and they are. So far so good. The controls are easy. The timer function is a great way to add an extra load to the day.

Washer broke and we needed a good washer for lower price. This model has exceeded my expectations

Best friend has same machine and has never had an issue; I have done 9 loads of laundry and had a technician come out three times. Quite a difference in experience! Yesterday he replaced a part, but it is still making the same sound/noise when agitating (if I could add a video I would...it sounds like a roller coaster cranking up the cars to the first drop...and that is not a fun sound). I find it hard to believe that it is "the nature of the product". I bought new, and expect a quality product. I am not going to be happy if technician is going to have to continuously come out because it is faulty. (I was told sometimes it is personal preference and subjective. I don't think any customer would think the sound is "ok".) Additionally, of the few loads I have been able to do, sometimes I notice dried/stuck on detergent, but only on a few clothes each load. Machine looks nice. Wish it were a better experience.
