Dirty cloth would come out dirty. so not sure if i have a defective unit. had it exchange for the samnsung top loader.

Product did not work when they left my house. had to wait 2 weeks before someone came back. it still did not work.

bought on Jan 29 2019 needs service Feb 18 not even thirty 30 days.Come and make this right.

I'm upgrading from a GE front loader (3.7 cu. ft) that I fixed twice over the span of my 12 year ownership, so essentially I hated it. Part of the reason I went with this new washer is because it's highly rated, well priced for the drum size and parts will be easy to find and fairly well priced. I've had it for about a month now and I've run an average of a load a day in it. It fits such a large load that the large laundry basket I have is piled high even after shoving the clothes down into it. It washes blankets so much better than the old washer solely because of the larger drum size. Besides that though it cleans like any other washer would. It's neither loud nor that quiet. I have no complaints with the product thus far. I frequently use the deep water selection so it takes about 55 minutes or so to do a load. I had an issue with Best Buy's delivery, which is still ongoing so I'll attempt to update the review when it's resolved. When they tried to remove the old washer they spilled water all over the walls, stairs, book case, pillows and laminate floor and quickly tried to get me to sign a form saying no damage was done, got into it with the guy and his boss on the phone but in the end they had me take pictures and submit it to their insurance. It's been three weeks and no word back from the insurance company. They thought they could get it out without the drain hose on but when they tilted the washer it all came out. They did a very good job installing the new washer however.

I have washed 3 loads. 1 load I washed twice. The items did not come clean.

The machine is too big. It wont let you rinse only or start it over. I just hate it

I would like to take back and get some other washer , i don't like it at all

This is a GREAT MACHINE!!!!... I read all the reviews before buying this washer. I can't talk for anyone else but the only way to Rate this Washer is 5 Stars!!! It washes the clothes great, the clothes also dry faster in the dryer or hanging them outside because it uses less water. This machine is well worth the cost and to me is the best priced machine I seen out there. 4.8 cbft tub is HUGE!! Very happy!!! BTW it's American made too!!... :-)

Very high capacity, perfectly balanced, excellent digital controls. It is close to self-explanatory with one BIG exception. After you have set all of the selections and pushed Start, there is a 30-second delay while the machine adjusts. I kept thinking there was something wrong, and pushing start again -- which of course reset the controls. A glance at the abbreviated instructions cleared it up, and never a problem since. I am delighted with the washer!

I’ve owned this washer for just over six years and it’s still going strong and looks great! The only issue is that about a year ago, the sound stopped playing when you press the buttons, as well as the little song at the end of the cycle. Not a big deal. Still cleans great.

Love this wash machine. So much better than a front load! Lot’s of options Easy to operate!

It's fantastic, the whole family loves it. I've bought this washer paired with the Cabrio electric dryer. The look and feel of the build quality is great. Coming off an old-fashioned washing machine (also made by Whirlpool and lasted over 10 years, which is good), this new one is like day and night in comparison, including nice large capacity. Very easy to learn and control with touch sensitive areas and pleasant melody feedback, Whirlpool engineers did a fantastic job with the controls. Would buy it again.

Noisy when agitating. Can hear it thru a shut laundry room door, thru the kitchen, into the tv room. Spinning out is noisy too, but not as noisy at the agitation/wash cycle. After spending the money, you wouldn't expect a noisy machine. BB guys- polite, on time, great guys It does clean well. We owned a Whirlpool for 11 yrs before we bought this one. That's why we/he picked another Whirlpool.

Washer/Dryer have been great, not noisy at all (compared to our previous 15 year old Kenmore) and very good performance. However, the delivery was a disaster. It took four appointments, the first three blown after we waited for the entire 4 hour window each time, to get the machines. It took 11 days from purchase to delivery. One time the delivery guys showed up with the hoses and dryer duct but no machines! BB gave us a $100 gift card for the inconvenience, but it hardly made up for all the time we invested waiting and seeking relief. Plus we had no washer for 11 days! (old washer had died.) Their funky computer system also does not allow anyone, including them, to reschedule a blown appointment until the truck that was supposed to provide delivery gets back to the shop and the order is added back into inventory (even when it is carrying just the hoses and not the machines!) So each blown visit cannot be rescheduled until the next day, meaning actual delivery is at least 2 days out. In the meantime, either the laundry piles up or you head to a laundromat or borrow a neighbor's machine. I am recommending the product below, but would caution you about BB if you value your time and sanity highly.

We had switched to a front-loading machine years ago to save water. after getting tired of the rubber seal on the front loader accumulating gunk and having some breakdowns after 12 years, we went for this high-efficiency top loader. Likes: gets the clothes clean; very quiet; easy to adapt settings to laundry needs; stainless steel basket; huge capacity; still high efficiency; useful location for detergent dispenser. Dislikes: jingly noise when turning it on and off; many electronic settings, worth figuring out what works best; more aggressive agitating action than front-loader occasionally leaves lint on clothes (which comes off in the dryer. we dry a lot of things by hanging on a drying rack and have discovered that running clothes in the dryer for 5 minutes removes the lint but leaves the clothes damp and ready to air-dry). excellent value.

I have only had this washer for about a month so I will re-review after a year, but so far so good. This washer is easy to use and huge. I put a king size quilt and blanket in and the washer performed perfectly. If I had a complaint it would be I can't fill it up. There are only two of us and I usually run out of clothes before it is full. I am 5'4" and do have to stand on my tip toes to reach the bottom, but I can reach. My old washer was a 4.6 front loader with all the bells and whistles that I hated. I didn't use most of the features and if I tried to do a big load it vibrated and finally the bearings went. This washer is so big, I looked up the serial number to be sure they hadn't sent me a 5.3 by mistake. Some reviewers complained about the noise. My laundry is right outside my bedroom off my kitchen/living room. I wash with the door open most of the time and I do hear a little splashing, but that's about it. If I shut the door, I hear nothing even during spin.

I bought the set because of the touch screen feature and I love it. It's very easy to use and washes greatly.

It's been a few months since we purchased our washer and can't be happier. It can handle a very large load and cleans well. It is not extremely noisy to us as it is a washing machine. The end of wash signal is great so you know when it is completed. Delivery and setup was fast and painless. Happy so far with our washer! !

This washer lasted me 3years 3months. It started acting up after 2 years with codes and lid lock not engaging so you’re unable to wash. Sometimes not finishing cycles. The dash board gave out. Just stopped displaying anything. I took it out cleaned it which has plenty issues on YouTube with reviews with moisture getting in there. I used my home owners insurance and paid $135 to replace it. It was fine. After 1 week the lid lock would not engage, it’s $50 just the part so I decided to sell it for $60. Everyone knows the quality so no one bit. Ended up leaving on the curb. Whirlpool is not what it used to be. I also have their fridge and it’s giving some issues but still running. If you buy this add warranty. Dryer is fine

Worked great for first year. Started having problems randomly with the touch pad failing to respond and random error messages. We continued to use washer, by unplugging and re-plugging in power to reset controls. That lasted about 6 months. Today, the control pad no longer responds and unplugging re-plugging power fails to reset controls. Less than two years after we bought it we are having to replace it. I hadn't owned a Whirlpool until I bought my current washer and dryer. Doubt I'll buy a Whirlpool appliance again. Going to give LG a try.
