I’ve had this washing machine since 2019 and it hasn’t given me any faults at all

Had this washer for 4 years now without any problems. I recommend whirlpool.

Once I found the Quick setting and got used to the longer washing cycle & sound I was completely satisfied with my purchase.

Beautiful washer and works great! Bought it during 2020 and still works amazing

I have purchased Whirlpool washing machines throughout my 41 yrs of marriage. Between myself, my husband, & 3 daughters, I used to laundry daily. All my machines, except this Cabrio, lasted well over 10 yrs. I purchased this in 10/13 after my kids had moved out. I am very easy on it. The Cabrio I purchased doesn't have an agitator. I can't tell you how often soiled clothes came out still dirty. So, I'd work on the stain & rewash. These were stains or dirt that my previous washing machines would have easily cleaned. Without the agitator, the clothes don't get cleaned well. I have never overloaded this machine. Iit only gets used for 1 towel load, 1 load of sheets, 1 load of hubby's work jeans & tshirts, & 1 - 2 loads of regular clothing (usually on delicate) weekly. The machine didn't drain & spin a couple of loads last week & it suddenly got really loud when it does spin. I could see that the drum was moving too much. So, I had a repairman come in to check it. The machine is leaking oil & water underneath. The motor is shot. Also, parts that hold the drum in place are broken. I spent $855 on this piece of junk 4 1/2 yrs ago. The repairman told me to avoid this brand as he sees this all the time with Whirlpool washers. He also stressed that I should look for a machine w/ an agitator. Having no agitator puts more stress on the drum. Lastly, the model I purchased had no drain & spin cycle. I hadn't noticed when I was looking at machines. It never occurred to me that a machine wouldn't have a separate drain or spin cycle. I used to hand wash some of my sweaters or delicates & spin them before drying flat. I can't do that in my Cabrio. I have to do the entire wash on delicate cycle. I have no faith in Whirlpool after this. I'm looking at other brands. This machine should easily have lasted me for 15 yrs w/ how little use it gets.

Best Buy was great. Quick delivery. Not only on time, but early. The washer is pretty darn good. My only issue is coming from a front load washer to a top load, my clothes are much wetter when cycle ends. Didn't realize that would be an issue. But the washer is great. Quiet, great features, big drum. We will see how the ''energy efficiency'' holds up long term.

Slient washer machine works really well and fast. Love the self cleaning option.

I wanted a large capacity washer for a good price and this one fit the bill. While it may not have all the extra bells and whisles and isn't a fancy color it gets the job done and has plenty of easy to use options. The only think I worry about is the tray for adding soap is plastic and not super strong so it could break if handled to rough. Also the touch controls are cool but could be another possible points of failure. I guess the bonus is there are no knobs to break off so I guess that is a plus.

Washer work really good, I can't complain at all, it was a good buy

Rewashing my clothes 2-3 times just to clean. Residue left on dark clothes -- I wear a lot of black for my job. I am so disappointed. I wash 2 pairs of slacks, 2 blouses and 2 pairs of socks and I find residue on my clothes, even with extra rinse. Some clothes are still dry when I remove from the washer right after cycle ends, esp. blankets and comforters. The low agitator is a joke. Does not even come close to getting the dirt out of my kids' clothes from sports. I should have stayed with a front loader model. Have had those for years and my clothes and huge comforters come out clean every time. I tried this model as it said it was high efficiency and could wash large loads. It's been almost a year and I am going to sell this one and buy another front load washer. Cannot continue to waste water and time washing clothes multiple times just to get the dirt out and soap residue off my family's clothes.

We are not happy! When I read other people's reviews that said this machine was loud, I thought well it will be in our garage so we won't hear the machine and really it can't be that bad.......WRONG!!!.Sadly it is Extremely Loud! This washing machine is in our garage but we can hear this machine clear up to the second floor in our house and the pipes keep sounding like they are going to burst open...Returning! It cleans good but due to the pipes and loud noises I will have to return it ...it is giving everyone headaches in our house! I gave it two stars because the model's appearance looks good and it does clean well.....but Not the machine for our large family!

I'm surprised to see any positive reviews; Consumer Reports gives the Cabrio an overall rating of 1.4, and that reflects my experience. Every load results in an unbalanced load. The manual says it is running a rebalancing routine, but if I put clothes in in the morning, when I come back from work, the message is still there. No agitator means unclean clothes. Way too expensive for such poor performance. It's going ASAP.

I was so ready for a new washer and dryer and I knew that prices are going to spike after the tariffs being imposed, so I bought both the washer and dryer on Labor Day Sale. My main concern was the noise level, but I can say that it does make some noise, but is NOT as loud as others that I've heard. Because there is no agitator in the basket, the wash sounds are definitely different. I also was shocked when I was able to wash an oversized king quilt that I'd been holding off washing because it was so big. The machine handled it magnificently and it came out spotless and the dryer handled the quilt just as well. I've had this for about a month and am very happy with the purchase. I'm now waiting on my Whirlpool stove and fridge that I also bought that weekend! Love having new appliances!!

I love the Whirlpool Washing machine! It is very stylish and very easy to use. I love the features. I like being able to see inside the washer.

Lots of options, does a decent job. However there is always water in the softener, detergent and Oxy trays after each cycle. Also if you don't hold down firmly on the lid after you press Start it won't run. It flushes all the detergent, softener & Oxy out (leaving water) & spits out an error code the lid isn't latched. Been this way most of the time we've owned it. Unacceptable at this price!

This is, by far, the worst washing machine I've ever purchased. I bought it the end of January 2016. Now, on June 3, it has been non functioning for 1.5 months. Today, after yet another repair visit, another part is needed. Each time a part is needed, it needs to be ordered, then the repair visit scheduled. East step requires time - one part took more than 3 weeks to arrive. This is unacceptable. Since this was a new purchase, all of the repair attempts have been via Whirlpool. The repair techs have been good, but this machine is a mess. I'm now looking at at least 2 more weeks with a broken machine.

I bought this washer for its large capacity and great reviews. It has been nothing but a disappointment. Most of the time it doesn't even clean all my clothes and after washing I pull them out still soiled. I have to do very small loads which generally take about 90 min and my clothes are barely wet. I can see dry spots where they obviously didn't even get cleaned. I gave the washer a year, tried every cycle option and load capacity and cannot figure out how it has good reviews. It simply doesn't work. I will now be purchasing a new washer.

Whirlpool products are reliable , efficient and energy saving.

I have had this washer for a week. I have tried washing delicates to Bulky items (quilts, towels, sheets) and color loads. The washer is loud when lid is locked but not too loud. The washer performed great. Clothes came out clean although I would recommend the extra rinse on color loads. Not a fan of the plastic softener and soap dispenser, you have to empty the water in it before starting a new load. I am happy with the washer. The sales person was great and knowledgeable and delivery guys were good too!
