    My installation never got finished to make a long story short the installation supposed to have been on 11,24,2020 this 12,12,2020

    Geek squad said they couldn’t install them and am still waiting for the refund. Terrible service!

    Camera installation fail

    I had purchased security cameras and installation. The contractors that they use are useless. He told me that he couldn't install my wired cameras. He would preferred that they were wireless. I had cameras installed by another company 8 years prior, so all he had to do was remove those old cameras and follow the wiring to install the new ones. He then recommended another company in the next town over. Im definitely not going to use his recommendation. I returned the cameras the next day and tried to get my money back for the installation. They told me it would take a week or so. Two weeks went by and they rescheduled another installation. I told the guy I returned the cameras two and a half weeks ago and wanted my money back that I paid for the installation. I'm still waiting. I hired another company. They we were extremely professional and installed their cameras and gave me a discount on installation because they said the work would be easy for them since I wanted the cameras in the same locations as my old ones. Best Buys contractor lost easy money on this install.

    WORST EVER by Best Buy Geek Squad Installer

    Installer was a NO show for first appointment. Spent about an hour on the phone being transferred to get a new appointment. They said notes show I needed to call them to reschedule which was a lie. Asked to speak to a Manager/Supervisor but got hung up on. Called again spent about 40min before I got in-contact with someone who would have a Manager call me back. Its been day 6 and no one called. Second Appointment Installer shows up with a truck without a ladder. He left and stated they are 15min away and would call me so I was assuming someone else was on their way. Four hours after no one called. I called again it was about 30min before someone could look at my account. This time they stated the notes indicated I cancelled. I asked who put in a cancel request and she said she had no idea. Drove to the Buford Best Buy store and they assured me they escalated the issue and a district Manger would call me soon. Did not get a call for 24 hours so called the Buford Best Buy and stated no one called. They assured me they escalate it again. Guess what no called and its going on 3 days now lol. At this point I am returning my Cameras and would be closing my Best Buy account when the refund is completed. Seems like 3rd world service to me. I want corporate to contact me but based on my experience they might NOT. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

    Great installers

    Tyler & Courtney came & installed my wired cameras. They were excellent. They were scheduled between 12-4 & arrived at @ 12:30 pm. They addressed all my questions & put the cameras in the best places. They were efficient and they cleaned up after themselves very well. I received the best service possible. You definitely want these 2 individuals to do your installation. They well exceeded my expectations, The wires were placed very well I can’t see them. They are very knowledgeable about their field of work. I was skeptical at 1st from reading the other reviews. They are friendly & very professional. Excellent job....when I add additional cameras I am requesting these 2 to do the installation. The price of the installation is very reasonable.

    Swann camera installation was done by Jeffery Norton. He installed six of our eight cameras by himself and did an amazing job. Professional and made sure the location for each camera met our needs. We have two more that will come back to install and we know he’ll go above and beyond again.
