It also seems a bit flimsy, like it isn't really too solid. I don't know, maybe it's some super space age stuff, but I personally think that the device itself should weigh more and have more integrity to its feel. But what do I know.

Great tech, questionable quality

This is my third withings scale. The very first one was this model, and was very reliable after a few years it worked perfectly fine but decided to upgrade to the more expensive model which was a big mistake. Only after a year of having it, it died! Some sort of mechanical failure or the battery went bad and dead in the water it was. So I had to buy another one because I sold the original one that I got that works so well. Very frustrated I was to have the nicer more expensive model fail on me. Hopefully this model will perform just as my original one did. Not happy with the ordeal but this particular product is good. Avoid the higher end version that does not a whole lot more than your heart rate. The other additional feature it had was cut from a software update.

Withings Body+Composition scale

I had only one day that numbers were way off, but stepped back on the scale right afterwards and it corrected itself. This scale is one of the better scales on the market for the price, but I'm still looking for a scale that is "very" accurate.

One flaw so far

Only negative is anyone in the family who is close in weight the scale cant figure out who the weight belongs to. Other than that(which can be manually changed) this is a good product.
