I should have listened to other reviews saying this scale was not accurate, but the ability to sync it with my weight loss app and the my flawed thinking that it was too expensive to be so bad won. This scale is extremely inconsistent. I can weigh myself, step off and weigh myself again, (without moving the scale at all) and the numbers will be different each time. Not only is it inconsistent, but the weight can be off by more than a pound so it is not in any kind of acceptable range. At this point, I am more concerned with the syncing piece and have a lot of weight to loose so the fact that it is off is not important enough to return it. I will be buying a new scale when I get closer to my target weight though and this scale will end up in the trash where it belongs.

The weight is showing about 30 lbs below what it should be and I need help in adjusting it!

So far it ok don’t think you can measure body fat with out proper tools and the weight changes by 1-2 lbs each use. It is Not consistent on measurements.

Very complicated to use. Not recommended. App is not intuitive.

It does not have sturdiness with floor...it moves easily while you try to stand on it...

If there is a cheaper model with wifi connection, then you should get that one instead of this. All fancy features are unnecessary

Good looking scale with some good features! However, the scale is very slow and inconsistent with its’ readings. Frustratingly, as a result, the App does not always update either. If you are sharing the Withings scale with your partner or family, then chances are you will hardly get their weight updates despite this being advertised as one of their strengths/selling points It should be noted that the scale and the manual was not solely in English.

I just picked this scale up a few days ago and will be returning it. I had really high hopes for this scale, but can only give it 1 star. Why? Because every time I step on it I get a different weight. I’m not talking about different days. I mean if I step on it, get off, and step on it again, the weight will be higher or lower a few pounds. A scale, especially an expensive scale, should not have this issue. I’ve tried it on hard floors as well as carpet with the feet. Same issue every time. Maybe I received a faulty unit. The unit does other great things, but I can’t give it more than 1 star if it’s main purpose does not work accurately.

A little difficult to set up but perfect once it's up and running. Perfect for anyone that is serious about tracking their weight loss effort.

It’s great if it works all the time but I had to keep pairing it to my phone. It’s frustrating getting it to synced.

It varies wildly from day to day and evening hour to hour. I mean I was 37 per cent body fat one day... even though that was inaccurate and the next day I was 31.5. Two days later I was 34.5 and went to the gym came back two hours later and I was 35.5. It looks nice and the app works but this thing is just wayyyy too inconsistent to spend money on. The weight is very accurate but everything else is a crap shoot.

Great for weight, other body measurements (body fat, muscle, etc) would vary GREATLY even the same day.

Takes way too long to read and is inaccurate with muscle reading it will say lost 30lbs+ of muscle in a day.

Very innacurate. I stepped on the scale and got a number. Stepped back on the scale and got a different number. I did this multiple times on multiple days on multiple different level floor surfaces. I loved how easily it records your info to your phone, but unfortunately it is extremely inaccurate.

Reasonable device with unreasonable software (privacy issues): It seems that Withings would like you to sign off on giving your body measurements to just-about-every-company-known-to-mankind. That's what the Withings software disclaimer would suggest. Buy this item if you like wading through pages of legalese to turn off advertiser sharing, turn off cookies, etc.

didn't work for body fat percentage, the only measurement was wight.

It was ok at first. Setup is a bit of a pain, also you can't use the weight tracking without creating an account. Also no option not to send your data to Withings. Data is not protected from other users if you share your device say within a family. Only thing that works after one year is the weight and weather now. Just get an "X" for all the other readings.
