The scale and functions work, but it does not pair very well with the app. I have had to reset it twice and again the app is not recognizing the scale, but it does actually pair with my Samsung watch to capture step count.

Excellent control for my Xbox, now I can play like a pro gamer in my free time.

It's alright. The app is a bit confusing, but it gets the job done.

I bought this for the sole purpose of weighing myself only to find out the scale will refuse to do literally ANYTHING until you set it up in the app. So because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of taking it back to return the item I downloaded the app only to find out it needed you to accept 5 different user legal agreements before you could set up your device. So if finally got to the set up screen only for it to repeatedly come back with an error that it failed to set up your device. Now after multiple attemps I have deleted te app and will be returning the scale in the morning. DO NOT BUY. Don’t support the terrible business practice on display here of requiring you to download an app and sign multiple user legal agreements just to do the most basic of functions that a scale like this should provide, that is telling you your weight.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Withings Body+ Body Composition Smart Wi-Fi Scale for about a week and I must say that it has impressed me with its advanced features and sleek design. This scale doesn’t just measure weight and provides a comprehensive analysis of your body composition, great addition for anyone looking to track their fitness progress or maintain a healthy lifestyle. It costs a little bit more than a traditional scale but I think its worth it. The first thing that caught my attention was the scale's modern and minimalistic design. The sleek black finish gives it a sophisticated look that seamlessly blends into any bathroom and fits under my dress, The tempered glass top adds an extra touch of elegance but can feel a little slippery when wet. The Withings scale has a great balance of functionality and aesthetics. Setting up the scale was a breeze, like any other app. With the built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, I was able to connect it to my smartphone effortlessly through the Withings Health Mate app. The app itself is user-friendly and well-designed, offering a seamless experience for tracking and analyzing data. I like the fact that the scale can also be synced with popular fitness apps like Apple Health, Google Fit, and Fitbit, so I don’t have to enter the data in. Being healthy isn’t just about weight. One of the concerns I have is being “skinny” fat. (average body type but low muscle tone and high fat). With the Withings Body+ scale: its has the ability measure body composition. In addition to weight, it provides readings for body fat percentage, muscle mass, water percentage, and bone mass. This information is crucial for understanding my overall health and progress. The scale uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) to measure these metrics, and although it may not be as precise as professional-grade devices, its better than nothing and I can use the measurement to track my progress. For instance, if the scale say my body fat percentage is 25% and I work out for month then measurement myself at least I know its going in the right or wrong direction. One aspect that I like the scale's ability to recognize and track multiple users. Withings Body+ can automatically identify up to eight different individuals, making it perfect for my family. Each user can have their own personalized profile within the app, and the scale seamlessly assigns the measurements to the correct account, eliminating the need for manual switching or adjustment. Overall, the Withings Body+ Body Composition Smart Wi-Fi Scale is an exceptional addition to anyone's health and wellness routine. With its sleek design, easy setup, and comprehensive body composition analysis, it offers a holistic approach to tracking your fitness progress.

Will not sync to app. Nice scale but doesn’t work as stated.

Stopped working after less than a year. The store will not assist. The manufacturer won’t assist.

This scale reads weight, heart rate, BMI, fat mass, bone mass, and muscle mass and shows it on the screen or app. The best thing about it is that it also keeps a history of the readings so you can see your progress if you are trying to get in shape, or make sure you stay steady. It also gives you an idea of what normal readings should be, and again shows it on the screen and app. It stores the readings in the scale so that you don’t have to have the phone with you to store the trends, which is great. The next time you run the app from anywhere, it downloads the readings. Basically, it is very motivating to see your progress and encourages you to step on the scale every day. I was someone who used my old scale on rare occasions but find myself using this every morning which is great, and my trend is going in the right direction. And for fun, it will also show you the current outside temperature and high for the day, and the air quality. It was very easy to set it up initially and it just worked, however setting it up for multiple users was not so easy. The instructions on how to use everything on the scale are almost non-existent, and even getting it from the Internet, I was never able to get multiple users to work, and it was turning into a big hassle anyway. Maybe someone else will have more patience to figure this out. Overall, if you are in the market for a new scale, this is the one to get even if it costs a little more than just a regular scale.

The Withings Body Smart Wi-Fi scale is an awesome addition to anyone's general health/fitness regiment or, for daily life in general! Lets start with the looks! This thing looks premium. It isn't cheap looking or feeling and you get the sense that it was built well. It goes with most any decor and doesn't look like an eye sore. The setup was super simple. After unboxing the scale, I pulled the battery tab and placed it on the floor. The scale came with optional feet to attach to it for use on carpet if you aren't using it on a hard surface. I downloaded the Withings app and added my smart scale to the app. That was it! I made a profile and stepped on the scale. This scale takes all kinds of different readings. It starts with your weight. The cool thing is, it automatically recognizes the person stepping on the scale by their weight! After taking your weight, it reads multiple other things, such as heart rate and body composition. After your done, it even tells you the weather for the day! On the app, you can see a timeline of all your readings to see how you are progressing. I also like the app feature (Eyes-Closed) that allows you to not view the weight if you don't want to see it! This device is going to be a huge help for anybody looking for a smart way to keep track of their fitness progress.

Great scale. although to many variations with measurements

You have to have an app to set it up and weigh your self.

Does not log all weigh ins and it does not recognize multiple users. Every single day I have to go into the app and assign 'unknown measurements' to one of the two profiles on my account, and it straight up loses weigh in information so I have weeks of lost data. The two users have markedly different weights, so it's not like it's mixing up profiles. I've tried resetting it multiple times but it keeps reverting back to the same issues. And of course BB won't let me return it even though it is clearly defective.

The Body Smart Scale is a major step up from a traditional weight scale. Not only is it capable of providing accurate readings of your weight, but it can also measure your heartbeat and body composition. I was very pleased with the setup process. It was very seamless and I did not have any issues installing the app and setting up the scale. The screen on the scale displays the different steps during setup while using the app. During setup, the app requires you to setup a profile. Your profile keeps a record of all of your reading whenever you use the scale. It keeps a record of your weight, body composition, heart rate, and other measurements that you have enabled in the app. You can also share the scale with others by inviting them and allowing them to setup up their own profile. The design up the scale is top notch and very good build quality. The scale has 4 feet that have rubber at the bottom, which allows the scale to stay in place when used on tile floors. It also comes with 4 plastic legs that can be used on other floor surfaces. Overall, I’m enjoying the body smart scale and everything it has to offer.

I have set up dozens of smart home items with no issue and this piece of garbage forces you to do a software update to connect it to your phone and it fails every update.  tech-support is telling me to change settings in my router. It is 2024 how can they sell a Wi-Fi device that is not compatible with modern routers?

Ended up returning as it would consistently not be able to record my body %’s even though weigh was evenly distributed and didn’t have wet feet.

It wouldn't sync with app. It is a common problem, discussed on the internet if you search. Tried everything and it still wouldn't sync with the app. So had to return it.
