This product complete garbage. I changed from kilograms to pounds over 10 times and it would never register and keep my selection. It failed to create profiles over five times. The feet have no grip so if you step wrong, it completely slides out from underneath you. I weighed myself 10 times and not once did it ever retain the data inside the app. Returning this piece of crap less than 24 hours after spending over $100 on it.

Our scale was awesome for about a year, then Withings udated the app. Since it has been horrible, hardly ever syncs. If youbtry for support, they are booked out over 2 months just to chat with them. Read the recent reviews on the app, or reddit before buying, and it will certainly change your mind.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Withings Body+ Body Composition Smart Wi-Fi Scale for about a week and I must say that it has impressed me with its advanced features and sleek design. This scale doesn’t just measure weight and provides a comprehensive analysis of your body composition, great addition for anyone looking to track their fitness progress or maintain a healthy lifestyle. It costs a little bit more than a traditional scale but I think its worth it. The first thing that caught my attention was the scale's modern and minimalistic design. The sleek black finish gives it a sophisticated look that seamlessly blends into any bathroom and fits under my dress, The tempered glass top adds an extra touch of elegance but can feel a little slippery when wet. The Withings scale has a great balance of functionality and aesthetics. Setting up the scale was a breeze, like any other app. With the built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, I was able to connect it to my smartphone effortlessly through the Withings Health Mate app. The app itself is user-friendly and well-designed, offering a seamless experience for tracking and analyzing data. I like the fact that the scale can also be synced with popular fitness apps like Apple Health, Google Fit, and Fitbit, so I don’t have to enter the data in. Being healthy isn’t just about weight. One of the concerns I have is being “skinny” fat. (average body type but low muscle tone and high fat). With the Withings Body+ scale: its has the ability measure body composition. In addition to weight, it provides readings for body fat percentage, muscle mass, water percentage, and bone mass. This information is crucial for understanding my overall health and progress. The scale uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) to measure these metrics, and although it may not be as precise as professional-grade devices, its better than nothing and I can use the measurement to track my progress. For instance, if the scale say my body fat percentage is 25% and I work out for month then measurement myself at least I know its going in the right or wrong direction. One aspect that I like the scale's ability to recognize and track multiple users. Withings Body+ can automatically identify up to eight different individuals, making it perfect for my family. Each user can have their own personalized profile within the app, and the scale seamlessly assigns the measurements to the correct account, eliminating the need for manual switching or adjustment. Overall, the Withings Body+ Body Composition Smart Wi-Fi Scale is an exceptional addition to anyone's health and wellness routine. With its sleek design, easy setup, and comprehensive body composition analysis, it offers a holistic approach to tracking your fitness progress.

By far the most inaccurate scale I have ever seen. Stand on it, get off then stand again and the two weights are often 3 pounds a part. Returning

This is a premium body scale with great features, an easy setup, and a great companion app. Setup was a breeze. It was as simple as downloading the Withings app and following the instructions on the screen. The only thing that took a bit of figuring out was how to turn it from kg to lbs. it ended up being really simple to do that—it involved pushing the button on the back twice. The scale itself feels durable and made of premium materials. It looks sleek and i don’t mind having it on display in my room. It runs off of standard AAA batteries which is convenient. Scale is very easy to use and includes a lot of useful information. I recently have been watching my weight and working out on a regular cadence and this device does a great job at tracking key metrics around my health. On top of tracking weight and body fat, it also tracks visceral fat, lean mass, and water mass to really dial in what you need. I also like that the weather is included on the scale. I generally ride my bike into work and it helps to know if the conditions support doing so without having to remember to check my phone. I use this scale alone but i also appreciated there was a way to set up multiple users if you were in a household with multiple people. The app experience is great. It automatically transfers data from the scale to the app so need to manually import or anything. While the scale has a nice display that shows your numbers at the present moment, the application shows trends over time which is really helpful to see if I’m making any progress. It also pulls in and exports data from the health app. So it will look at things like your steps and also send in your weight/fat percentage/etc. Overall, this is a really great scale with a lot of features for people who are trying to track their health goals.

I actually owned an earlier iteration of the Withings scale and had it linked to the Withings application on my smartphone. I love the way it integrates with the other applications on my phone and allows me to follow trend data regarding my weight and body fat percentage. This newest iteration of the scale takes things up a notch with a full color display and additional body metrics, such as muscle mass, visceral fat, heart rate, bone mass, body water, and BMI. It also displays the weather in my area, along with the air quality outside (although I have no idea what I can do about the outside air quality). The setup of the scale was very simple using the Withing application on my phone and the application itself is really nice at trending my data points. When set up appropriately on my phone, it also gives me the opportunity to share that data with other applications on my phone (while also being able to integrate data received from those other apps within the Withings application as well). Another nice feature is that the scale can accommodate additional people and track their data as well. I do not know what the limit is for the number of people that can be tracked, but I currently have four people in my household that are tracked (including myself). While one may wonder just how technologically advanced a scale can (or should) be, I really like this scale, its color display, and the way in which it connects to my phone (and home wi-fi) seamlessly to help me track/trend my health data. If you are looking for a nice scale that uploads data to an application that allows for this functionality, this is an awesome scale for that.

I’ve used these scales for years and got the new one and had to return it. I think the new software update makes it not read anything but weight and heart rate. I’m sure they’ll fix it but I didn’t want to take that chance.

The Withings Body Smart Advanced Body Composition Wi-Fi Smart Scale is a sleek-looking addition to any bathroom or exercise room. It is extremely easy to connect to your smartphone and home wifi. After setup, just step on the scale and it will cycle through your weight, weight trend pattern, body fat percentage, visceral fat level, muscle percentage, heart rate, local temperature and air quality. There is nothing like having a scale show you numerically that your body fat percentage is going up to motivate you to get moving and start taking care of yourself. For me, lower weight usually means less muscle/more fat, so just having a regular scale that tells me I am losing weight doesn't work. Losing weight is usually associated with tighter waistbands for me. Withings Health app allows you to keep up with your statistics and activities, and it has programs and suggestions to help you reach your goals. You can invite friends to join to challenge and motivate each other to be healthier. You can connect the app to the Google Fit app to transfer your data back and forth and get a more accurate idea of your actual physical activity and how it translates to your body composition. I would highly recommend this scale to everyone.

This is a really cool smart scale and I have been excited to use it to track my progress. I chose the white color as it stands out more and the LCD display looks great in contrast. Here are a few reasons why I went with Withings Body Smart Scale: 1. It is a Wi-Fi enabled scale, allowing me to use the specially created app that gives me a a number of ways to track my body weight, BMI, full body composition (body fat and water percentage, plus muscle and bone mass), and much more. 2, Weight and accuracy: Digital scales are highly accurate as long as they have viable batteries. I would suggest to use it only on a level hard floor, do not use it on a carpet! 3. Love its design and display: this scale with a digital display is the easiest to read. 4. It is light in weight and can be stored practically anywhere. This smart scale can be used as a regular scale without its bells and whistles as well, so if you are intimidated by its connection to Wi-Fi and an app, just use it as is. I think it is pretty affordable and easy to use. Definitely recommend it to any one looking to track your weigh loss or gain.

Withings Smart Scale a Blessing in disguise

When I got these scales I honestly didn't know what to expect from them as I never heard of the company who makes them but I was quick to learn about them being someone that has a weight problem along with health issues (type2 diabetes, asthma and Afib). Knowing that I personally need to loose the weight that I have I found out that this set of scales would document things that I actually couldn't remember to do it has so many features and was relatively easy to set up along with the app even though my first time trying them it did show an error which did kind of made me worry but come to find out after doing a reinstall of the scales on the app and leaving them alone until the next morning then using them for the first time it showed no errors. If your like me you will want to get this set of scales and weigh yourself daily to make the best of a healthy choice as I said it does most if not all of the work for you once it sends it to your phone to record it in the app the only thing you have to do manually is your bp if you don't have the wireless BP cuff that the company makes. Which for me might be the next investment that I get to go with this product which for me would be worth while with my Afib. The best thing is after having the scales for a week and weighing 240.7 I have watched my weight go up and then back down and showed my PCP the results after 7 days along with the med that he put me on I now weigh in at 232.2 a great big lose of 8.6 pounds and it might start staying off this time around but only time will tell. Pros for this set of scales are easy set up and recording everything for you and being able to buy other Items from Withings which you can find on they're site. The one and only con was the only error that popped up which was on the last setup when stepping on the scales where it showed an error on body. Other than that one thing they're a get set of scales and well worth getting the and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone

This is a nifty, smart scale that is packed with a lot of features and wellness integration that I found to be very useful. First, I like the design and construction. I found to be very well-made. Color LED screen, sharp and contemporary up to standards to other modern tech. I thought the set up was not very difficult, and from the moment you turn on the scale it walks you through the set up process, including the essential app associated with the device. The app was easy enough to navigate, which required me to put in my baseline measurable‘s, including age and height. One surprising and nice feature was the fitness and wellness integration which links to other apps, including the Apple health app. So it does keep track of your exercise and fitness levels as well. This can make it easier to reach your goals which you can input as well. One downside, is that if you have an accidental body weight reading , the scale doesn’t know it and you have to manually delete it, so it doesn’t mess up the data trends. The app does take a little bit of exploration and playing around with it to fully unlock and appreciate all its features but I don’t think it’s much of a learning curve. I think overall it’s an OK app, and the scale itself works as intended. Just a little buggy but I think it will be worked out. I don’t think you can go wrong with the price for the feature set and What you’re getting. I do recommend it.

The Withings-Body Smart Advanced Body Composition Scale can provide measurements on your weight, the air quality in your area, body mass index, heart rate, and more. Downloading the app was slightly challenging in the beginning. Had to reboot my phone a few times and the app itself had to reboot twice. However, once set up, each time I weigh myself using the floor without carpet, it gives pretty accurate readings. When used on the carpet, remember to use the floor pads they give to get a better accurate reading. The app helps to keep track of weight loss and gain. It also can tell the body muscle composition which is nice. You are also able to connect more than one device and individual to measure their weight as well. These devices can include using android and os devices. Also, the app provides articles and information on staying healthy, body mass index, and much more. Your able to invite friends to work together on goals and there is a leaderboard built into the app to challenge your friends.

    Worthy health monitoring device

The Withings Body Smart scale is the 2nd step in the body lineup, between the base Body and Body Comp models. The scale itself is well constructed and looks like it will last a while. Something I’ve never seen before is the included “carpet” feet. These feet are larger saucer shaped feet that snap on the small rubber “hard floor” feet to add stabilization if you are using the product on a carpeted surface. This is not my first body monitoring scale but it is my first smart scale. Setting up the app was clunky but was successful for the first user. Unfortunately, it took three attempts to get the second user added. You have two options when adding additional users - first you can add them in your app and everyone’s information is contained in the one app. The second is having the users download the app and “attach” their accounts to the scale which is the method we are using since my wife tracks her health as well on her phone and I really don't need to access her info. The app does share and collect data from multiple platforms including Apple Health and presents them all to you at a glance. It also uses this additional data to present you with guidance to achieve your goals as part of the Withings + monthly subscription. I like that you seemingly do not lose any data points if you do not subscribe. The scale is supposed to know each individual user and automatically send that date to the correct account. This was somewhat problematic for the 2nd user. The scale uses the weight to match users and selects users based on +/- 11 pounds. There is significantly more than 11 pounds between my wife and I however, the scale routinely misses her. All is not lost, these non-identified data points are listed in the app and easily attached to a specific user. I did notice when doing this, the unidentified data shows up on both phones/accounts and once added it wasn’t removed from the other users app. Just a bit of house cleaning needed there. The scale is quick to display weight but does take about a minute to roll through the different measurements and show the daily weather. You can select which screens you want to see at each weighing though. The display is bright and easy to read, another plus. Having multiple health issues, I really like seeing the composition measurements - especially the visceral fat, which is the fat surrounding our organs. I give the Withings Body Smart scale four stars, taking away one star for the difficulty with the app. I imagine future updates can/will fix these issues. Otherwise, I would recommend the Body Smart scale to anyone looking for a reasonably priced health monitoring option.
