    Wildly inaccurate

This device was off by as much as 30 points in the systolic and 25 points in the diastolic. Inaccuracies this high in a medical device are inexcusable, and a search of the web on "bpm connect inaccurate" show many others with similar errors. These are the kinds of inaccuracies that can send people to the hospital unnecessarily. You should not buy this product, and it should be pulled from the market.

I love the whole blue tooth connectivity thing but unfortunately mine read 15-20 points above the calibrated one we have in the office I work at.

Bought this for my parents and have had nothing but issues. It constantly loses bluetooth to both phones and the multi-user setup has little to no documentation. Always having to rerun setup. I was going to go with the scale and watches for them but have since reconsidered given this device experience.

    Simple Setup/Easy to Use

Initial setup was pretty easy since I already had a Withings account for our digital scale. Setup required opening the Withings app on my iPhone and then selecting devices and add a new device. The Connect Blood Pressure Monitor was found right away and the setup process walks you through taking your first blood pressure reading. The strap is a nice soft material and the display was easy to read. Checking the app after taking the reading, I was able to verify the info had already transferred to my phone and was now part of my health record. I was surprised to notice in the app that the battery was showing a 93% charge, so it should be a while before I actually have to charge it. We have another blood pressure monitor that we compared the results against and the averages over 5 tests were within 1-2 points on both readings. Overall the Connect Blood Pressure Monitor appears to be well made, easy to use and a great way to stay aware of your blood pressure readings. After 5 days of using this daily I've already learned my blood pressure increases when I take over the counter allergy medication.

Be aware this may read 10-20 points high. I highly recommend you compare at a doctors office to make sure it reads properly for you. Withings has done nothing to fix or address this well known issue for many people. Look it up, it often reads high.

    Honest Review: Don't Buy This

The Withings BPM Connect - Wi-Fi Smart Blood Pressure Monitor is a total waste of money - and a lot of money at that. Readings are at least ten points higher than reality, as verified by a Certified Medical Assistant, and my doctor. The only thing this item will guarantee you is a trip to your doctor because of freaking out at how the readings are. This company owes me twenty bucks for my co-pay to my doctor's office.

I would not recommend this blood pressure monitor as I do not think it works well for people of a certain size or those with larger arms. It gives inaccurate readings that are not consistent with the readings you’d receive in your doctors office. Using this blood pressure monitor as your baseline might lead you to believe you are having a significant health crisis only to find that the device’s numbers are way higher than they should be. On top of that, I find that the device is just plain difficult to use.

This thing always reads about 20 points higher. Check online and others have the same issue. Withings hasn’t reached out to anyone and no support offered. Please avoid as it defeats the purpose of its not accurate.

Cuff stop deflating after use and always read high. Also, i did realize hiw terrible best buys return policy is. I thought i would have 30 days like most places. Sad to say, but i wont use best buy again. Only because the return policy is too short. I have only had the device for 18 days. :(

Not a good BP monitor. The sleeve is too soft and slides or rolls easily and the monitor itself is just not accurate, consistently gave me BP numbers that would fluctuate at least 20 and as much as 30, which is just unacceptable with a BP monitor especially where this one cost far more than a much more comfortable unit I purchased for 50 that is accurate within a few numbers of my doctors test. FWIW its easy enough to setup and use if you don't mind inconsistent and inaccurate results.

Terrible item... thing is so inaccurate that it has me questioning all their products. The monitor functions great, just the reading are so far off that it is useless. Consistently says i have a 220/112 BP... my Dr office and non-fancy old home monitor both have me at 138/90.

I was glad to buy a Withings product that I could connect to my app just like my Withings scale. Unfortunately, the band is so small I can’t wrap it around my arm. I’m an average build. My adult daughter who is a size 2 could wrap it around her arm, but there wasn’t much room left. What was Withings thinking? I’m so disappointed that I bought this and redeemed $40 worth of Best Buy certificates. I was too late in returning it, so I’ve completely lost out. Ugh.

Delivered on January 7, 2024. Tried several times, carefully reading the directions. It doesn't work. I can't get a live person to take call. Had to make and appointment for the company to call me until February 29th, well passed the 30 days to exchange it. We'll see what happens on the 29th if I get a call from the company.

Compared to Withings prior cuff, readings differed. Customer support, suggested resetting the monitor. Now it has has much lower readings. In my opinion, it is not ready for prime time.

Much better than the previous model. The velcro hold better. This one reads the BP as it is inflating, instead of waiting to read as it deflates. Faster. You also don't need to start it from the app like the previous model. Rechargeable instead of taking batteries.

Already owned, two other devices for BPM, I purchased this one so I could carry it with me, I had to return it because, I would always get super high readings, I compared all three and this one, was way off than the other two.

Stopped holding a charge within 30 days, no longer lights up when plugged into USB charger, same as reported in several other reviews. Returning as defective, lucky I have an extended warranty BB plan on it. Was great with my other Withings products and convenient for the few times it worked.
