I’ve only been using VR for a few months, so when I first heard about the Woojer X Meta Vest, I was honestly a bit skeptical. It seemed like a cool concept, but I wasn’t sure if it would justify the price tag. I was already getting a lot of enjoyment out of my VR headset, so adding another piece of equipment felt like a big investment. But after giving it a try, I can say with complete honesty that this vest has completely changed my VR experience.
The difference it makes is incredible. With just the headset, I had a great visual experience, but once I put on the Woojer vest, it was like the entire world of VR opened up to me in a whole new way. The vest adds a whole new layer of immersion by delivering haptic feedback that corresponds to what you’re experiencing in the virtual world. Whether it’s the rumble of footsteps, the deep bass of an explosion, or the subtle vibrations from the environment, everything feels so much more real. It's like the virtual world wraps around you not just in sight, but in touch, too.
What really impressed me was how natural the feedback feels. It’s not just a gimmicky vibration—it’s incredibly precise and responsive. It feels like a genuine part of the VR experience. For instance, when I’m walking around in a VR game, the vest will subtly rumble to match each step. If there’s an action scene, the vibrations can be deep and impactful, like when a big explosion happens or if you’re in a high-speed chase. I’ve played games before that use great sound design, but the Woojer vest takes it to a whole new level by adding a tactile element that makes everything feel real.
I was also surprised by how comfortable the vest is. I was concerned it might feel bulky or restrictive, but it’s actually lightweight and adjustable. I can wear it for hours without discomfort, which is important since I tend to get lost in VR and lose track of time. The build quality feels solid, and I can tell it’s built to last. Plus, the battery life is impressive—I'm easily able to get about 7 to 8 hours of use on a full charge. That’s more than enough for a long gaming session or multiple VR experiences in a single day without worrying about it dying on me.
Overall, I’m really glad I decided to give the Woojer X Meta Vest a try. It’s definitely an investment, but for anyone who is serious about VR, it’s absolutely worth it. The level of immersion it provides is unlike anything I’ve experienced before, and it’s really made my VR sessions more intense and enjoyable. I’m excited to see how VR technology continues to evolve, and I’m hopeful that this vest will remain a core part of my setup for years to come. If you’re hesitant about the price like I was, I can honestly say—it's worth every penny.

A Pretty Cool Haptic Vest

To sum it up, this haptic vest is an impressive piece of technology that truly enhances your entertainment experiences.
Gaming Experience
In the realm of gaming, the vest brings a new level of immersion. For instance, while playing fast-paced games like Space Marines 2 or Cyberpunk 2077, I found the intensity a bit overwhelming. However, in games such as Elite Dangerous, the sensation of my ship rumbling through space is nothing short of exhilarating. The ability to physically feel the in-game action adds a layer of realism that elevates the overall gaming experience.
Music Experience
When it comes to music, wearing the vest feels akin to being in a car with the bass cranked up. The vibrations enhance every beat, allowing me to truly feel the rhythm of the songs I love. Now, listening to music without the vest feels incomplete—it transforms the listening experience into something vibrant and engaging.
Comfort and Setup
Beyond its immersive capabilities, the vest is remarkably comfortable and straightforward to wear. While the initial setup can be a bit tricky, a simple power cycle usually resolves any issues. I did encounter a minor setback with audio lag, which was related to Bluetooth connectivity. Switching to a wired connection effectively solved the problem.
Suggestions for Improvement
One enhancement I would love to see is the ability to adjust the vest’s settings through software. This would allow for more personalized tuning to suit different preferences and experiences.
Conclusion
Overall, my experience with this haptic vest has been fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in diving into the world of universal haptic feedback. Whether you’re a gamer or a music lover, this vest is a worthwhile investment that adds depth to your entertainment.

This Vest Changed My Gaming Experience Forever

The Woojer Vest 3 (Made for Meta) is great for anyone who wants to have a more in-depth feel with their music, movie, or gaming experience. The quality of the haptics is amazing, really making you feel every hit of bass and impact in video games.
In my experience with the vest regarding gaming, I have tried a couple games with it so far and it does not disappoint. Playing games like War Thunder and The Forever Winter, I am able to feel every explosion, gunshot, and rumbling of massive machines as I play, making me feel like I am really a part of those worlds, feeling every sound thrown at me. Another game I have tried this with is Beat Saber, which was incredible, as I was able to not only see and hear the music, but feel it as well, which adds a whole other level of immersion to the experience. In regards to movies, the vest is excellent at picking up subtle sounds and amplifying them, and making sure you feel everything that happens in the scene, be it the heartbeat of the main character or the explosions of battle.
The setup process for the vest is incredibly easy. Just download the Woojer app on a mobile device and connect it to the vest via Bluetooth or Aux cable, and you are all set. The app is also easy to use, with simple and effective UI design and necessary information laid out in front of you. The vest itself is also very comfortable, with a nice material and adjustable straps so that it will keep the pads in place even while it is going off at full force. The 6 haptic devices are well placed and are very powerful, making sure that on higher settings you will not miss out on any sound. The vest will take up any Bluetooth/audio output for any device it is connected to, but that is solved with being able to use the Woojer app to connect Bluetooth headphones directly to the vest, and the vest having an Aux output jack such that you can also use wired headphones.
Besides from a mobile device, the connection to PCs and VR headsets (specifically the Meta Quest 2) is also very simple. You have the options of using Bluetooth, an Aux cable, or a USB-C cable, which are both located on the front control panel of the vest. The connection is smooth and has little to no delay, really making you feel immersed in whatever experience you wish to take part in. The vest also has great battery life, in my experience needing only to charge for 1-2 hours before allowing you to use it for up to 6-7 hours of uninterrupted use.

This product is absolutely fantastic for both gaming and music enthusiasts. Setting it up is easy, and once you're connected, it takes immersion to a whole new level. In games, every explosion, shot, and impact feels incredible. It’s like stepping into the game yourself. Games like Call of Duty and Beat Saber become even better as the vibrations perfectly sync with the sounds, pulling you further into the experience. Listening to music is equally impressive; the low notes vibrate through the vest, making every beat and bass drop feel alive. It adds a physical dimension to games/music that headphones alone just can't.
What truly sets this vest apart is how it transforms ordinary moments into something amazing. Whether you're slashing through enemies or vibing to your favorite music, the added layer of vibration amplifies the fun. It’s not just about hearing the sound; you actually feel it. The build quality is solid, and the design is comfortable for long sessions, so you can enjoy it without distractions. Overall, this vest is a game-changer for anyone who loves sound and action.

The Woojar Vest 3 from Best Buy is not just a piece of equipment; it is a revolutionary tool that enhances the way we experience music. As a seasoned audio professional, I have had the privilege of testing out this full-body bass monitoring device, and let me tell you, it is nothing short of spectacular.
From the moment I strapped on the Woojar Vest 3, I was transported into a new realm of audio immersion. The ability to not only hear but also feel the deep thump of the kick drum reverberating throughout my body was truly a game-changer. It was as if I could touch the very essence of the music, sculpting tracks with a depth and intensity that I had never experienced before.
One of the standout features of the Woojar Vest 3 is its ability to capture the nuances of sound, allowing me to pick up on subtle tones and textures that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. The lightweight and ergonomic construction make it a joy to wear for extended periods, whether in the studio or on stage. The adjustable settings ensure a personalized fit, allowing me to focus on the music without any distractions.

When I first ventured into the world of VR, what truly sold me was the unparalleled immersion it offered. Woojer’s haptic vest certainly filled out that role in bringing my immersion to a whole new level, exceeding my expectations in many ways.
I had thoughts that the haptic feedback is just a gimmick, but it wasn’t; it genuinely did enhanced my gameplay by allowing me to feel every action and environmental changes that happened within my games.
One of the standout features for me was the ability to connect the vest to my phone and sync it with my music. This functionality is nothing short of AWESOME! Listening to my favorite tracks while feeling the beats resonate through the vest adds a whole new dimension to my music experience. It’s like having a personal concert where I can physically feel the rhythm and bass without the noise complaints from the neighbors.
The vest has also showed to be an incredible conversation starter. Whenever I have friends over who are new to the VR space, I love introducing them to my setup. The moment they put on the vest and experience the haptic feedback for themselves, their reactions are priceless. It’s an awesome way to share the excitement of VR and create memorable experiences with friends and family.
As an added bonus, Woojer’s haptic vest looks much cleaner and sleeker than other haptic vests which played a role in making my VR setup look sick.
My only gripe with the vest is that it isn’t possible to connect multiple vests to a Nintendo Switch, but that is more on the Switch’s end due to their bluetooth connectivity.
TL;DR: Woojer’s haptic vest is a game-changer for anyone wanting to upgrade their VR immersion experience. The vest is not only an awesome VR addon but also an amazing music experience enhancement accessory. It provided fun bonding with my friends while also looking good on my VR setup.

Got this as a Christmas gift. This definitely steps up the immersion of the oculus quest 3! Currently playing resident evil 4, and you can feel the rain/thunder/lightning. You can feel being attacked, which is very cool. Set up was a bit difficult for me, but I didn’t read the directions…. Because I’m a man. I finally figured it out, and oddly enough, the directions already spelled it out. The Woojer connects to the headphones in a wired fashion. And connects to the VR via Bluetooth. The oculus can’t be connected to two Bluetooth devices at once. So, once I figured this out, I was good to go. But again, this was user error, not a manufacturer error. After getting everything going, I was amazed. You can see in my pictures that volume and tactile sensation is controlled at the front of the vest, and easily performed even during a game. The only minor issue is there is a latency. I mentioned this on a survey that was emailed to me, and I got an immediate response from their customer service rep. I was shocked, because I truly didn’t think anyone ever really reads those. Evidently, there’s going to be a software update that is going to fix this. It does not interfere with the immersive experience, just slightly annoying. I’m really impressed with their quick response. In my opinion, this vest really shines with beat saber. You can feel every note! Although not marketed for this, I’m willing to bet this will help folks with COPD, shake those secretions loose!!! Definitely money well spent, fantastic addition for VR!

It's great and immersive, however I think choosing between a cord or Bluetooth kinda sucks.
I'm stuck using a cord for now to avoid delay because Bluetooth introduces a 1 second delay, so it's useless for games, but fine for music. They should've done a 2.4GHz wireless option to avoid latency and not have to rely on a cord. It's still cool to use though. Your headset also needs to be wired to use it, as it feeds audio through the vest. You can avoid this though by using Voice Meeter Banana to do two separate outputs on a computer. The first one I received had popping and crackling when using a cord, but the second one I received has been fine.

Ive been using this vest strickly for gaming. This vest is pretty awesome, but it's not going to drastically change the way you play games. It definitely enhances it and makes it more engaging and a bit more immersive. I enjoy it quite a bit and lower my music volume but keep the sfx volume high to get the best effect out of it. I would recommend but the price is high imo. If you can get this at a discount or open-box price I'd go that route.

I purchased this for all media. I was skeptical at first since i didnt know if it was gonna intergrate witj my current audio set up. But it hooks right up to my astro mix amp so easily! The game quality is insane feeling earth shattering explosions, the ppunding of gunfire or the the roar of engine. Its all right there. The music side is even better. I always liked muisc but with this its an actual experience. I might have tonget the portable version next to take when traveling. 9/10 the only thing ive ran into issues is the Bluetooth is a little funky and ill have to use the reset fuction. But if your going wired connection itll be fine. The vest straps are a bit larger. I use the smallest adjustments amd im 6.1 averge built amd its a little loose on the arm straps

I knew what I was getting into when I jumped in and bought this thing, so my expectations were set accordingly. It's pretty much a subwoofer for your upper body, so if that sounds cool, you'll probably dig it. It's great for any type of media you can think of as long as said media has a good amount of bass. The haptic level can get cranked pretty high, but not so much that it will shake you to the core. For that reason, extreme bassheads will probably be dissapointed. First thing I tried was music with a great set of headphones wired to the vest and the experience just sucked me in like no other. Not only does it enhance music listening, but the vest itself is surprising comfortable. Maybe I'm just weird, but it's like a massage for my upper body lol. Having a really good pair of headphones for it is a must in my opinion and maybe they should've included at least a midrange set for the price. Tried PC gaming with the vest wired to my desktop through usb C and it was just as good. Pretty much no lag when wired into a source, otherwise you are guaranteed to get audio/haptic delay when going solely through bluetooth, so be aware of that. Used it with my PSVR2 as well, with an Aux cord between the vest and the headset and then wired earbuds to the vest. Worked perfectly that way with the audio/haptics synced up and completely upgraded playing in VR. Most immersive game with it so far was Crossfire Seirra Squad, which is an intense military shooter, so was perfect for the vest. Haven't watched any movies yet but I'm sure it'll be along the same lines. Overall, I got the experience I expected with the Woojer Vest 3 and have loved every second with it. The negatives with this thing are input bluetooth latency and app buggyness. Hopefully both things will be addressed in updates, but is still a five star device to me. Listening to music is definitely not the same without it as it's like being at a concert! Great job Woojer team!

I've been using the Woojer Vest for a few weeks now, and I'm absolutely amazed by it. It's a wearable haptic feedback device that adds a whole new dimension to my gaming, music, and movie experiences.
The Woojer Vest uses haptic transducers to create vibrations that you can feel throughout your body. These vibrations are in sync with the audio that you're hearing, so they really immerse you in whatever you're doing.
When I'm gaming, the Woojer Vest makes me feel like I'm right in the middle of the action. I can feel the explosions, the gunfire, and the footsteps of my enemies. It's like having a whole new level of feedback that makes the game even more exciting.
The Woojer Vest is also great for listening to music. It makes the music feel more alive and pulsating. I can feel the bass lines, the drum beats, and the vocals in a whole new way.
And when I'm watching movies, the Woojer Vest makes me feel like I'm part of the action. I can feel the car chases, the explosions, and the suspenseful moments. It's like having a home theater system that you can wear.
The Woojer Vest is a well-made product that is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. It's also easy to use. Just connect it to your phone, computer, or gaming console, and you're ready to go.
Overall, I highly recommend the Woojer Vest to anyone who wants to add a whole new dimension to their gaming, music, and movie experiences. It's a truly amazing product that I use all the time.

I was initially concerned that the Woojer X Meta vest might be too bulky, but upon trying it on, it’s surprisingly comfortable and easy to adjust for a variety of body types. It’s lightweight, form-fitting, and made from soft materials that don’t feel restrictive even during long gaming sessions.
What really stood out was how the vest improved my VR experience. I often struggle with motion sickness in VR, rendering me unable to play for prolonged periods of time, but the haptic feedback from the vest really helps ground me into the virtual space. It provides a physical connection to the game world, making it easier to keep playing without the subsequent headache.
This vest has been a game changer for the comfortability of VR and has greatly increased my enjoyment and appreciation for the medium.

This Woojer thing is like nothing else, you don’t just hear the sound, you feel it and it actually works! I thought I’d only use it for resident evil 4, but it worked great with all other games I tried and it was rocking when I ran some music through it. Here are some initial thoughts that might help you:
Setup time: I downloaded the iOS app and connected within 2 minutes which is impressive for a non-techy guy like me. I recommend you download the app, it takes you through the entire setup process.
Battery life: After 4 hrs it showed battery at 50% so I reckon about 8 hours till its completely flat.
Look & feel - this feels really nicely made and feels like it will last for a long time and also easy to clean.
There is a kicker though, I let my wife have a go at it and now she’s hooked! She wants one for herself. I’m thinking of getting her the smaller version strap, so she can use it for her tunes and yoga.

It's a pretty fun to play around with, and my friends who aren't really into this sort of thing thought it was cool. I personally like feeling like I'm being hugged by Sabrina Carpenter's Short n Sweet album with all those funky fun beats. Though, it's slightly uncomfortable in the chest area if you're a few letters up. And I get a little sensory overload when I'm gaming, so can't recommend using this vest if you're like me and feel like you need to rip all of your clothes off and hair out when you get run down and die for the nth time in your game of choice and a single dust particle touching the back of your neck makes you want to scream and destroy your entire setup. But anyway, love it for music every so often!
