Fun JRPG with a great combat system. Will give you a ton of hours for your money.

A little hard to get into, but once you spend time with it and learn its systems and intricacies, there is a charming and outstanding JRPG to be found. It's certainly not a game for everyone, but with enough patience it's a game well worth dipping into.

The game might be boring in the beginning, but after the 10 hour mark, it becomes one of the best games on the switch. Please give this a chance

This is one of the best JRPGs that I have played since Tales of Symphonia. The battle system seems daunting but is incredible one you get the hang of it. Amazing game!

I haven't played an RPG in a LONG time, but after reading about Xenoblade Chronicles 2 I decided to try it out. A little over a week since I got it and I've logged about 30 hours without feeling like I've really scratched the surface on this one. I've seen people complain about the battle system online, and it can be VERY confusing, but once you start to crack the code it's pretty rewarding. I would recommend checking out some online tutorials, but it's far more than just letting your characters auto-battle. So far so good though, I'm thoroughly enjoying it and would highly recommend it.

Xenoblade Chronicles X was seen as a departure from the original Xenoblade Chronicles, but Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a return to form and gameplay of the original.

By far my favorite switch game. The story is intriguing enough and the characters, while annoying at times, were enjoyable.

Was looking for a game to play on the switch that was comparable to Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Really enjoyed the game, spent 130 hours playing before I shelved it.

I've yet to finish Xenoblade Chronicles on the 3DS, but I knew I had to pick this up once it released. Based on what I'm seeing so far, I'm happy with my purchase and looking forward to my story unfolding through the world in Xenoblade Chronicles.

It is not my kind of battle system. I love the story, but the battle system and the maps are very complicated for me. You have to set up some chains of attacks to deal serious damage.

The game is perfect for portable mode can play for hours and level up while watching TV or a movie at home or taking it to the airport perfect game to kill time

Battles are great. The world is huge. Character are memorable. Battle system is a lil confusing at first but when it clicks it feels so good.

Fantastic gameplay. Good story. Easily spend many hours doing quests and hunting unique monsters. One of the best RPG experiences as of late.

This series is amazing if you are a RPG fan. It's supposedly tied in with the Xenogears/Xenosaga series and is fun to play for story and gameplay

I was looking for a bigger RPG experience on Switch so I chose this over Octopath. Voice acting is a little off sometimes and a bit slow to get into but overall I'm enjoying the game and the story. I would recommend it for sure.

I am a few hours in and it is great! Has the classic JRPG feel but with a MASSIVE world and huge scope. The graphics and environments are great.

I have played for about 20 hours and am very impressed. I enjoy the story and characters more than I was expecting. Combact takes some time to understand and I know that there are very deep systems that I need to learn. Overall, a great game.

I bought this for my son he says he likes the game a lot he goes back and forth between this one and The Legend of Zelda Breathe of the wild. He won't review it so I would say that the hours that he plays it says it all.

There are some really great things about the game. The combat is fun. There's tons to do. Some of the designs are really inventive. The story is great. The issue is that the start isn't very good, and there are a lot of small frustrations. The map isn't as useful as it should be. On launch, the compass was awful. The story is uneven, with the start being very cliche and 'anime' with a lot of annoying, immersion-breaking scenes. It picked up near the end, but the gameplay is the same way--the start is rough and not balanced well.

This game has a lot of depth to it and never gets boring. I like it better than the 1st Xenoblade even though that one was amazing in itself.
