Great intro for newcomers to the series
Great RPG that is half the learning curve of xenoblade chronicles X on the Wii U and is just as big of a journey with lots of characters to befriend and use in battle. If you have played the last two games you'll be familiar with everything it throws at you for the most part with only a couple different changes to the leveling mechanics and combat. The only thing I dislike is they still have some mundane fetch quests that are a pain to get through but you DONT have to do them. That's probably the best part about this game is the ability to not have to worry about grinding unlike previous entries and be able to just play the game organically and still be able to fight what comes at you in the main story missions. You still have to understand the battle system but you don't have to over level just to win. They did add that whenever you complete side missions that the only way to add the exp from said missions is to sleep at an inn. Almost like FINAL FANTASY 15 except in 15 even defeating monsters in the field doesn't level you, here it does and it's only tied to the side missions. If you're looking for a great RPG pick this up. Worth the asking price!

Must play
this game is pretty amazing. I remember getting it when it first came out and being put off by the art style compared to one but grew to love it a lot.

Fun but complex
The graphics are quite good especially if you like the anime style. At first the battle system seems too simple but you quickly learn that it's very complex, more so than it really needs to be. I recommend looking online as the in game tutorials don't explain it very well. It's also very long, at least 60 hours.

A lot of fun
I really loved xenoblade chronicles so I was very excited about the second one so I picked it up. I do not regret it and I think you won't either. I have really been enjoying this game.

Newcomer to the series
This game has left a positively great impression on me and I can't wait until the definitive edition of the first game releases in May
