We researched pretty much all of the smart locks out there and decided on the Yale since it had the best reviews. We've only had it installed for about a week now, but the setup was very easy, the app is super simple, and the lock works flawlessly with either the keypad or app. Google Home had a bit of a tough time adjusting to it but eventually got over itself without any intervention on our part. It was a little pricey but so far seems to be worth it. I'm curious to see how long it will be before the batteries need replacing. Will update when they croak.

Easy to install and great for guest house rental. You have to download the app to activate and setup unique codes, but super easy and great!

The yale lock is a very durable lock you can unlock unlock the door from your phone with the app and it sense of security because it notifies you if the door is left open by mistake

Great product, easy to install and my children are also satisfied with the product. The door opens easily after you enter the code and I haven't had any issues with the product.

Yale has a really great track record as a lock company. As an actual lock, this thing works. As a smart lock? Absolutely forget about it. Had it for less than a year and the wifi receiver kept going through batteries like no tomorrow. On top of that, one day the smart functionality just stopped working altogether. I think i reset this thing like 5 times in the brief time i had it installed in my door. THANKFULLY i have bestbuy totaltech. Took it over to have them look at it and they just gave me the full price in store credit for it. That is why i gave this a 2 because Bestbuy actually honored the warranty I purchased and I was able to get a different lock. I had gone through some support steps from their documentation but they apparently need to be within a few feet from a Wireless antenna. Obviously that is not feaseable in all houses so this is pretty irrelevant and a bad design flaw. I would NOT recommend this lock.

We normally us Schlage Encode locks, but quality and reliability has gone down quite a bit in recent years. After replacing 5 Encode locks in one year. We decided to try the Yale Assure lock 2. Surprisingly it’s been performing great and it costs less than the Encode.

Best door lock for home entry. Definitely would recommend. Don’t have to be home to operate it, just use your phone or smart watch.
