I purchased this lock as I trusted the Yale name, and I figured spending a little more for it would be worthwhile. Unfortunately I’m regretting it. From the get go, the battery life was literally only lasting a day. I contacted customer service, and was told I was supposed to lock and unlock the device three times from the app once the new batteries were installed. Well, that didn’t help at all. I reached out a few more times, and finally they decided to send me a bridge. It seemed to work for at least a couple weeks, but then it went back to receiving the “low battery, change immediately” notification. Now they say they’re sending me a replacement. While the CS team has been nice, it doesn’t take away the fact that this lock is problematic. Really disappointing considering how expensive it is. Time to look for a replacement…..

I was pretty excited to try and install this lock, mainly because of the well-known brand and features they advertise on this specific smart lock. I intended to use it for a house I own overseas and give family members and friends access when I'm not physically present to let them in, and this was THE lock I needed. However, after a few weeks (less than 1 month of use), I noticed the YALE APP wouldn't connect to the smart lock, so I couldn't create a code, open, or lock the door remotely AT ALL; and the Home (iOS) feature on my phone wouldn't be able to connect to it, as well as the Alexa App. But, my friend could still use the code to go in the house, which is VERY concerning because the app WOULD NOT let me know or send a notification since it was "broken". In addition, the same friend had to remove and reinstall new batteries to the lock, and it began to work okay. This was a suggestion to the YALE customer rep on the phone. Now, a month later, the same issue is happening. For an almost $300 smart lock, it shouldn't have this many hiccups on the APP.

Awesome smart lock, looks super clean and was really easy to install. The only thing I wish it could do was lock automatically during a certain time frame of the day.

This lock solves all my old issues with a past yale lock. I like the option for a keyed entry. I also enjoy that you do not require that old plug in wifi connector for the lock. This has a easy setup and excellent sensors for when the door needs to lock itself

It’s better than Schlage. Super easy to install, very user friendly, and has made home entry very easy. Love the fact that I can use a fingerprint scan to enter my home.

Great! Just hoping the batteries last, we'll see. The price was $60 better than online.

It was a great decision to buy this luck, bery easy to use and the most important part is you dont need to carry that heavy keychain each time you’re going out or firget to take it with you!

The lock was easy to install and fairly simple to setup on wifi and to program pass codes and fingerprints. I can check and operate the lock from anywhere on my iPhone. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Ver easy to install and setup initially. We have recurring issues with it going into 'passage mode' that results in the lock unlocking itself without any user interaction. We've attempted troubleshooting measures recommended by the manufacturer, but the issue persists.

It does everything perfectly fine. My only gripe is the display on some of their other models looks better and seems to get brighter. Maybe this is designed to be anti glare which I could understand. I like the functionality being able to use a key or the pin. It’s a good buy.
