Best lock Available! Fingerprint works flawlessly! This replaced my nest locks and I haven't looked back! Way WAYY better!!

I love it, works great. Nice purchase. Very durable.

Installed in August, died in November. Going on 2 weeks without a replacement, with no end in sight, as customer service told one time “the warehouse is backed up”, and then “because of Black Friday deals we don’t have any replacements for you”. So I’m just in limbo with no lock on the front door. Never in a million years would I expect warranty process to be this horrible

I put the batteries that it came with in the device once i set it up…. They died within ome week. I then replaced them woth brand new alkaline double A batteries ans it died again within a week and i was locked out of my house because of it. Terrible product

This my second yale lock. The first one failed after 2 years. This one is just over a year old and has given nonstop issues since I got it. Batteries die after only one month. Fingerprint reader is extremely finicky. Proximity sensor is very unreliable.

The fingerprint open is fun. especially like being able to check if my doors are locked when I am away feom hime.

Garbage. Wouldn’t buy. Almost have it installed for 1 year now. Finger print scanner is garbage and doesn’t work. The lock unlocks and locks anytime it wants even with it not setup too. Yale support is not good at all. They even have the wrong email address for support on their own website which is ridiculous. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS LOCK!

This Yale Smart Lock is an overpriced, overhyped piece of junk bought here from Best buy with only a 15 day return, I spent $300 expecting a reliable, secure product and instead got a dysfunctional door ornament. Some of its key features simply do not work, and after five phone calls and nearly a month later talking with Yale customer support, I’m still dealing with the same issues. Their “technical support” is laughable — useless scripts, vague apologies, and the same line over and over: “Our technical team is working on it.” No timelines. No progress updates. No results. Just a whole lot of waiting and frustration. I’ve wasted hours of my time and hundreds of dollars, and Yale can’t even provide a straight answer. For a company that sells “smart” products, their support is anything but. Buyer beware — if something goes wrong (and it will), you’re completely on your own.

We bought this for my 90 year old mother in law and now we can see and make sure the door is locked and when it was used.

Sleek and no finger prints, it lights up at night when you touch the home button. App works good.

you may need to hollow out your door jam a bit forr it to be secure
