Modern and very Slick
|Posted .I had a desktop but needed a laptop for business and school work. This laptop is very slick. You can flip and use it like a tablet or just like a regular laptop. I love the touch screen feature which comes in handy when in a hurry. I absolutely love it!

Great computer
|Posted .I love my computer. Im on it everyday. I bought office 365 and it works out great. I have one note and word and synced it with my phone and it works great.

Very disappointed
Posted .I bought this laptop so I could use it for my business instead of using my phone. There were only 4 reviews before mine, however they weren't terrible. I was only on the laptop for less than an hour and I received an error telling me it ran into a problem and it had to restart. That literally happened FOUR TIMES!!!! I tried using my forward facing camera and it was super grainy and the microphone was popping. I am so upset about this that I will be returning it tomorrow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friendRating 5 out of 5 stars with 1 review
Don't believe the battery hype
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendIt was between this and the Spectre 360 i7 8GB for me. I also considered a MacBook Pro for one hot minute (price is 3x the cost of this for similar computing power). After 3 days, here are my observations. 1. Keyboard - If you learned to type circa 1995 on a keyboard as hard as a rock like I did, you are likely also a violent typist. I need a recessed keyboard for wrist comfort, a lot of key resistance, and as much key travel as possible (Spin 7 is 1.35mm; Spectre is 1.3mm; MacBook Pro is 0.5mm). If you tend to fat finger keys, there is enough space between these that error rate is low. A lot of people prefer the Spectre's more sensitive and quieter keyboard, but that's not for me. 2. Battery - Gracious, I've never heard so many people complain about a battery before! All of the settings that suck the battery juice are maxed out when you receive this computer to show off its performance. If you fiddle with the Intel Graphics Settings, perform basic Windows 10 alterations for power (ex: turn off background refresh and auto-update for apps), and keep the keyboard backlight off when you don't need it, you jump from a puny 3 hour battery life to 7.5 hours (without the battery saver on). Spectre is widely reported at 9 hours; MacBook at 10 hours. A little longer would be convenient, but it's still acceptable. 3. Processor/RAM - Unless you're a gamer worried about framerates or doing some hardcore video editing, an i7 is a waste of money. i5 processors are only a couple of seconds behind i7s for normal, everyday function--sometimes, they're equal. The 12GB RAM is even a little much unless you like to have 10 programs open at once. Anyway, I ran dxdiag on this laptop and clocked a 2.7 GHz processor speed. (I'm not sure if this is actually means anything, but it looks important.) 4. Durability - This is not an aluminum skin, it's plastic. For people that like to drop their computers off buildings like me, this is risky. However, I heard a dirty rumor that Spectre screens break easily. I have frequently tossed my MacBook across a room--not in anger or anything, I just don't even think twice about heaving it at the laundry basket when I'm done with it and if I miss ... oh well! I have even dropped it onto a tile floor in the kitchen, knocked it down a flight of stairs, and once my dog surfed across the hardwood floors on it. That sucker is hardly even scratched on the corners--no dents! I feel like I could accidentally run over it with a car and it would just pop my tire. Anyway, I don't get that impression from the Spin 7. It's solid and doesn't make any annoying plastic rattles when I shake it or bang on it--yes, I just did--but it's like driving a car made out of metal vs. plastic. You can just *feel* the difference. 5. Misc - *Yes, the power button sticks out on the side a half millimeter or something, but after smacking it twice the average human brain begins to auto-avoid. *The speakers are on the bottom and only work well on hard surfaces--no soft carpets or beds or anything. *There's are (2) USB 2.0, (1) USB 3.0, (1) USBC, (1) full-sized HDMI, and (1) micro-SD slots. *Comes pre-loaded with a couple game apps, including the Minecraft app. *The charge cable is like 8 ft. long. The charger itself is Longwell LS-18 125V (turbo charger?)

Great laptop for school
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI went laptop shopping when I began online courses. My decision came down to four (two HP's, and one Asus). They were all 13.3 and 2 in 1 (laptop and tablet). Since I like listening to music, my final test was listening to music with headphones. By far, the Samsung sounded the best. Excellent sound quality. Microsoft 10 is very easy. I'm glad for the purchase.

Desktop, laptop, tablet all in one
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendLove this laptop. Plenty of memory for all of our and small business needs. Love the flexibility to swith from laptop mode to tablet. Crystal clear picture for all of our movies and videos. Still learning all of the features and haven't quite been using Cortana to her potential probably. We are a Samsung family so this fits in perfectly

Very nice laptop, fast, great screen
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendVery light, can work for 8 hours on battery no problem. Screen is very nice, can read fine text very easily even at 75% font size. Very fast boot, very solid, instant on is a nice feature. Wireless is much faster than our 2-year old laptop, seems equivalent to wired speed. Nice keyboard, easy to type, really like the backlight on the keyboard.

Solid build and good looking laptop.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendNo problems at all since buying a couple of months ago. It replaced my aging Samsung Series 5 Ultra 13.3. Really like the 13 inch size laptops. This one has a lot more features than my Ultra had like a lit keyboard and tablet fold feature.
Q: QuestionIs there a dvd/CD tray on this computer?
Asked by Blewiyzz.
- A:Answer No, there not a DVD or cd tray. Laptop is less than 2 inches thick when closed. There are multiple ports including an hdmi where you could connect an external DVD player. Speakers are ok, nothing exciting about them. Screen is awesome. Capibility is great. Fast laptop, can handle running multiple programs without slowing down. Battery life is good. Honestly these are the best laptops I've come by for the money. This line of Samsungs are reliable. We use three for our business. My staff use the 13 inch screen. I use the 15 inch screen because I need the keyboard with a number pad. I made the mistake buying compromible Lenovos and they were junk. I had a similar model from 2013 that lasted four years of abuse. In and out of my briefcase. Aluminum body is the way to go. You get good bang for your buck with this laptop. Anything cheaper I wouldn't consider for my use, and anything more expensive you might as well fork out $1,500+ and take the next step up to a laptop with superb features, capability, processor, and a solid state drive.

Q: QuestionDoes it have windows ink and is it compatable with bamboo pen.
Asked by lgoode.
- A:Answer This Samsung 2 in 1 is not compatible with the Bamboo pen. I purchased the pen especially to go with one of the laptops we purchased that day. We were told at the store that the pen would work with this particular model, even though he could not demonstrate. Got the computer home and it did not work, exchanged the pen thinking that the pen was defective, the second pen did not work. Spoke with a 3rd representative and then found out that it was not compatible. We exchanged one of the two computers we bought for an Asus so we could get one that would work with the pen. Hope this helps
