Q: Questiondoes this dishwasher have a drying cycle? why does door open automatically ?
Asked by Marc.
- A:Answer I was skeptical about this whole "door opening thing", too. And I purchased this, expecting to hate it... but I absolutely love this Samsung DW. Since there isn't a heating element, a fan goes on near the end of the washing cycle when the door opens just a bit, allowing the condensation to escape. And no... your kitchen won't get steamy, in fact it's so quiet and minimal you won't even notice (unless you happen to spy it in action). The 3rd top drawer is a wonderful attribute, too. Your silverware will come out sparking every time.

- A:Answer Hi, having been looking for a replacement dishwasher for about a year, I found that this model was the best on the market, I spoke to friends who had purchased Bosch, and they seemed happy but I have always been a fan of Samsung. This dishwasher is SO quiet its unbelievable, the only way you really know that it is running is sometimes there is a slight noise when the cycle is in rinse mode, (draining into my disposal) other than that its the blue light on the front. It was very easy to install, with the help of a friend who thought it would be funny to show up with a "sledge hammer" and "adjustable wrench" to help me remove the old one.....LOL If you need to add another item you just open the door and add the item. The quick wash is 60 minutes and works great I am one who has always rinsed my dishes before I put them into the dishwasher One other nice feature is that if you leave the dishwasher on when you return the door automatically opens to help dry the washed dishes - FYI, this is a setting on the dishwasher. Enjoy.......

Q: QuestionLove that the door pops open so I don't have to wait up to open it. However, I'm concerned about how large the "holes" are in the bottom rack and that my cups and other items will fall thru. Anyone have issues with fully utilizing the bottom drawer?

- A:Answer I am including a link to a helpful guide to support your concerns on loading the dishwasher (https://bit.ly/3lZb925). We thank you for choosing Samsung for your home! ^Lena

Q: QuestionDoes the door lay flat and parallel to the floor when open without the rack on it? I returned one that the door bounced up on when open and would not stay flat and want to know if this is the norm or if mine was truly defective. Thanks
Asked by SuzH.
- A:Answer The door lays flat and parallel to the floor. It has mechanical resistance to it laying flat, which is quality in the product. There is no bouncing effect to it, it's not like opening a refrigerator door.
