"I connected this Vizio sound bar using a HDMI cable and eArc ports. The problem is, my TV will not connect to the Vizio through the HDMI ports unless I unplug the TV each time doing a hard reboot. ...Hdmi arc and optical audio input means that you can basically connect this to any system. "

"Great Speaker...The only downside is that it doesnt have any wifi connections which sucks...I have a dish network receiver, ps4, ps5, nintendo switch, all connected with hdmi cable into back of tv that I didn't have to touch because the arc connection senses that you have powered on one of the devices and the tv and the bar switches itself on and tv speakers shut off and bar plays the sound.. all automagically. "I bought this and am satisfied with this product, just one thing tho, I had an older HDMI cable and the audio would not come thru so I googled it and watched a YouTube video and the guy on there said the HDMI cable needed to be a newer version, now it works with new HDMI cable...Works as advertised! "A very nice touch, this speaker comes with hdmi cable and AAA battery for the remote....I have an original Nintendo and used the receiver to update the connection to a HDMI connection. I will be looking for an alternative way to connect now. "
