Q: Does this work with Sony projector VPL55ES
A: IT WILL WORK WITH THE SONY VPL55ES BUT DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF THE THEATER ROOM EVERYONE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE THE 3D IMAGE. I PURCHASED MINE THINKING THAT IT WOULD WORK ALONG WITH THE BUILT IN IR TRANSMITTER ON THE PROJECTOR BUT IT WONT. THE BUILT IN WOULD SUPPLY A RANGE FOR THOSE SITTING IN THE FRONT OF MY HOME THEATER BUT NOT THOSE IN THE BACK, SO I BOUGHT THIS THINKING I COULD ATTACH IT TO THE SECOND IR PORT SO THAT THE BACK OF THE ROOM WOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THE 3D IMAGE BUT IT DOESNT WORK LIKE THAT, ONLY ONE IR TRANSMISSION WILL WORK AT A TIME. SO I GOT ME RF TRANSMITTER AND CHANGED TO RF GLASSES AND NOW THE 3D IMAGE CAN BE SEEN ANYWHERE IN THE ROOM. THE RF TRANSMITTER IS BY EXPAND AD025-RF-X1-R1. I CAN BE PRICY BUT WORTH IT.. ITS HARD TO FIND SOMETIMES BUT JUST GOOGLE THE NAME AND ITEM NUMBER PROVIDED
